How to download Ghosts from nin.com

The servers appear to be stable now, here are step by step instructions that should get you through downloading.

1. If you have not paid for the album yet, choose an option and do so.
2. Check your email for a download link, it should look kinda like this:
http://store.nin.com/download/order?id=???RANDOM???
3. Click on that link.
4. If everything is good, you should come to a page that tells you that this is a one time download, and has another link to download the file. Use a download manager (Wiki list of download managers) to download the file.
5. If instead of getting the proper page, you received a page that says to click the link in your "origional email", enter this website into your download manager http://store.nin.com/secure/???ORDER_ID???/nin_ghosts_I-IV_??version??.zip, but replace ???ORDER_ID??? with everything after id= in your emails download link and ??version?? with either mp3 flac or apple.
6. If your download stops part way through, using a download manager should allow you to resume the download where it left off.
7. If all of this fails and you're still having problems, contact support@store.nin.com

So I purchased the 70 dollar version on AINR, and I'm still waiting on my email for the mp3's of the tracks. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

I didn't buy from there, but from what I'm gathering from others AINR hasn't sent any download links yet.

i haven't recieved an email yet either, and it's been over an hour.

i'm sorry to say this twice, but i think it bears repeating...

if you download from nin.com, leave the "IMPORTANT: This is a one-time download link.
Click here to download your file" window OPEN.

this way, if your d/l fucks up in the middle, you should be able to re-start. i did, and it's working better now than it did at first.

It's been 90 minutes for me, and no email. Urgh!

same here. cant even order through nin.com, so i went through A+R and still no email. i was hoping for a flac instead of amazons 256kbps easy ticket.

I'm just trying to get the stupid order page to load. Agh! Me want!

Sorry for being a sound file n00b, but are FLACs compatible with iTunes? I would assume so, but I've never bothered looking into it.

I can't even get beyond the order options page. https://store.nin.com/cart/quantity won't load. Anyone else having this problem? Trent getting hit with too much traffic on his site?

A+R orders gets the email for the download right? I got my confirmation for my order, but no download email or link.

Load times are terrible right now for anything on NIN.com. Can't get past the order page. Can't even get back so I can stream the audio. ARGH!

Yes, it says so on their site. I expect it's just a small slip-up/oversight and will be sorted shortly.
AinR is fairly new anyway, and this is such a massive thing in terms of users accessing it there's bound to be stuff like this.

Well, I got all the way up to "Confirm order" page.. If you just keep going back and hitting "continue" you will eventually progress. Or that's the approach I'm employing, heh.

SOMEONE DIDN'T THINK THIS ALL THE WAY THROUGH!

Can't get the order form to work, I'll probably order the $10 version tomorrow.

Also if you're stuck without the audio, you can at least listen to the preview files on Amazon. Better than nothin', eh?
