I was chilling with my beer and they bought me a shot, one ran into a guy she knew who was in town for ESPN game day madness and next thing i know im numerous shots in and very drunk at 11. I even got a job offer from the one as she is gonna be a GM at some new place that is opening downtown. All in all the night went really well. It's all kinda blurry but I'm guessing that has slightly more to do with the fact that i had been up since 6am but hot damn i had a good time.

So a few weeks ago I drunkenly entered a Jagermeister contest for their Friday the 13th party, forgot about it and today got a package in the mail with a Jager hoody, hat, tshirt, 4 shot glasses, sunglasses, lanyard, bottle opener, and 2 huge stickers. Unfortunately I drunkely gave my old address when I entered so I gotta get all the shit from my parents this weekend but DAMN, I'm stoked.

Oktoberfest yesterday was a blast! I usually hate going there but we had two reservations and were about 20 people. Some of my best friends and people I've known for years and some I haven't seen for too long. We downed gallons of beer, I danced with my best ladyfriend (really danced, wow) and I met more people than I was able to keep track of. Absolutely no one was too drunk or caused trouble. White Russians are fucking amazing but I'm shit at making them and other than my old watering hole I've never found them anywhere for less than $5. At my old regular bar they were $3.50 each or $6 for a double, most of their cocktails were priced as highballs. It was a glorious place...

Easy way I've found is to pour both the kahlua and vodka at the same time, with pour spouts in place go about 3/4 full add cream. They used to be my shit so I can make them pretty easy though if you get it wrong it's hard to fix.

Of course this is all dependent on some shitty bartender not raping the mixture.

It looks like I'm going to be spending Christmas alone, most likely getting shitfaced. Kinda shitty, but my family isn't big on Christmas anyway so it's not like I'm going to miss much. I never had it without the sugar. There is only one place here in the desert that serves it (they call it the "Oscar Wilde" lol) but I'm meeting up with this guy who only drinks absinthe. It's gonna be interesting.

Btw, which is the best brand out there? From my research, Lucid and Mansinthe are the brands to drink. I have had Lucid but not Mansinthe.

I've spent my evening slowly sipping on Kraken rum (SO fucking good) and just....completely destroying my apartment. In an OCD way. You'd think I was on aderall. Cleaned dishes, put it all away, organized and re placed all the furniture in my room (this happens almost monthly but today I found a REALLY nice arrangement for everything. I've never read anything on feng shui, but i'm pretty sure my impulse is related to that philosophy. I'm constantly trying to find the best use of my spaces in a way that feels right and most spacious), I created a new dog/cat bed, put up a curtain in my room....anyways, in general just finally put everything "in it's place". I feel happy buzzed and excited to wake up to my organized apartment tomorrow.

P.S. This is my first day of my almost two week vacation. It'll be a drinkin' one!

That post gave me multiple flashbacks to the last apartment I lived in. a few pots of coffee + a few grams of weed ÷ 3 room mates = clean as fuck apartment with a new furniture arrangement. One of the last arrangements had 2 couches side-by-side along 1 wall with 4 tvs side-by-side along the opposite wall. We played the fuck out of so many video games with that set-up, it was unreal. Got disqualified from a Call of Duty tournament once because apparently that was against the rules because it's an unfair advantage.

- splash of lemon juice

I adjusted it to 2oz of everything, except the lemon juice and hot sauce, and it was sparkling grapefruit juice. It's WAY better than it sounds.

Had a wild night last night… First dinner and beers with all my friends, then back to the track team's place for more drinks and shots, boxing (fighting) occurred in the basement in which I took on our running club president about 5 rounds, a Frat party, back to the track house for more drinks and then an international party, finally back again to the track house for the cool down.
