Lol. Okay, I see that now. I have no idea how I looked at that photo so long and didn't see it. I think @FULLMETAL (https://www.echoingthesound.org/community/member.php?u=356) is right about the smoke from Vegas on my glasses! It's pretty cool in that it says Cold, etc. given that it would be used in the actual cold and likely a dark (black) place given the early sunsets in winter! I will say though I do love my A Perfect Circle scarf that I got last month, but I think I can have another scarf being in Minnesota.

No, why would it matter at all. If Rach is going around the venue and pit to take photos, how would the 3 people who wouldve brought a camera in make a difference. The pick up time is kind of random, since the show will have started by then, so why you gonna go grab your print at that time for example, then go inside and watch the show. For whatever amount of money youre paying, aint nobody risking the damage, even if its in a tube.

It says you can pick them up beginning at 930, not that you have to. Says you can get them up until the venue closing.
But there is something I don't understand about it. It's not going to be a print of the concert for the night that you're attending, but for the night prior?

First the outside merch is open to all.
They will sell posters. Right now they have er...a lot.

As for the prints:

- tonight you have to go inside to East lobby to order but tommorrow they'll sell outside too

I can’t recall any details at the moment, but I definitely remember prints being available - mostly because LITS was my first time ever seeing them live, and I wanted those photo prints to commemorate the shows. I was mostly broke and 18 years old at the time, though, so I missed out.

I was on floor/rail for SF and balcony for Vegas. The camera is not too bad without zoom. But honestly, don’t buy this camera. It’s outdated and unsupported hardware at the moment. I would upgrade to something a bit newer if this one broke, but it’s still chugging along years later! :D

I think the camera doesn’t matter as much as the camera settings and concert lighting do. Find a point and shoot that allows some flexibility with settings and lets you change the exposure value quickly. And find something that you’re comfortable with.

This was taken with a different camera from the soundboard in 2013. I liked this camera’s photos much better (Nikon P100), but it was just too damn bulky to hold throughout a show. :(

Just to note on this - Bottom of the Pyramid confirmed that he was only doing prints for the first 2 shows. I didn't ask if he knew who the artists were for the rest of the run, but AFAIK the pricing has been consistent regardless of the artist. The photos were only sold inside on Friday night. Saturday the photos were sold at the outside merch booth before doors opened. This is supposed to be the case for the remainder of the LA dates. They said they would open merch at 2pm on Saturday, but it actually opened closer to 4:30pm. People lined up at the driveway on the west side of the venue in the morning the day of the show for merch.

Well, the photo was from the night before (the 7th) as you can see it before the show even started. You’re talking about the $250 photos right? My brother asked after the show on Saturday if there were still some available and the person said yes. If you want the photo from Saturday, for example, it was going to be available on Tuesday. The whole thing confused me, to be honest.

I don't care about which show the image comes from as they not adding a date it seems beyond the 2018 and I will likely just do it once. :-) As you can read above (or back), Friday's image is unknown for now and Saturday's was going to appeal to a smaller set of people so it still had copies available later that night.

I was thinking the cropped logos (Hesitation Marks, Add violence, and Bad Witch), the "NIN" and "SIN" logos from the Sin single, the lower-case "n" from Broken (maybe make it backwards so it's clear that it's NIN), the "Nautilus" shell from TDS, the half-logo from The Fragile, and maybe the glitchy With Teeth-era logo (though that one might be too complicated).

I wear the NIN enamel pin a lot and I wish there were more! I have the Bad Witch pins too but have not really worn them. I do really love the A Perfect Circle pin on their website -- it's really creative and a locket! I missed the APC after Thanksgiving sale so now I am just hoping there's maybe another sale right before Christmas (though I doubt it).

I second this. Getting a portfolio for my prints was the best thing I could’ve done for them. If anything, now I need a second one - one for NIN stuff and one for other stuff - because there’s no way I’ll be able to fit all of these tour prints AND other stuff into one 48-page portfolio. Plus, when I get a new one, I get to open it up and see the progress of my collection!

Speaking of which, anybody ever get any sort of shipping notifications regarding the Corona Capital APs put up for sale before Thanksgiving? I got my order confirmation but absolutely nothing else. Since then I’ve ordered and received three packages from the UK...Just seems strange that it would take so much longer to ship over such a significantly shorter distance, and with zero progress updates whatsoever. May send an email if I don’t hear anything in another week or so, though.

How do you store these portfolios? It doesn't say if there's any sort of rigid support - can they stand upright, or do you store flat? If you store flat, are you worried about any ink/paint rubbing off?

If you get a professional quality portfolio, they usually come with acid free paper which protects the prints. I store mine flat under a bed. The spine provides enough structure to move it around without damaging the prints.

So you'll wait w/ everybody else at first but I don't know if print pick-up would have any longer wait. It seems unlikely due to cost and the quality of photo available each night so far.

Oddly enough, despite being tour prints for NIN, I find myself coming to appreciate more of these artists for their work on their own, regardless of whether it wholly reflects NIN or not. That isn’t to say I love them all, or that I would still buy nearly as many of them if they weren’t NIN related, I just think I’ve gotten over that hump. There’s some work by Fitzgerald and Kloc and others that I refuse to not have on display on my walls at some point in the future. I’ve discovered a very expensive new hobby.

The other thing I’m realizing is that when I see these prints, I’m tending to look at them as a lens through which to look at NIN’s work in a different light. Again, some are way more appealing than others, but collecting them has been a rewarding little experience in itself and gives my brain something new to mull over when listening to their music.

(But maybe that’s also just me trying to cope with not being able to go to more shows on this tour, heh.)

I'm still in the 'only prints from shows I attend' although the Millward print from the summer really tested that, as did the Daniel Danger and Fitzgarald prints from this cycle.

Hahah, I’m feeling the same way. If there is a new one and I miss out, it wouldn’t be a big deal, but if I could get the updated one and use THAT one to frame with my stubs, I’d much prefer that. Imagine my surprise when I looked up the wiki for 6th Street Bridge! It turns out the bridge was featured in TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY starring Robert Patrick (the brother of Filter's Richard Patrick - NIN's first live guitarist).

Pretty much any movie thats set in LA before the bridge got taken down 2 years ago has a shot of somebody driving into downtown on it and it pans up to the skyline, its just something nobody would notice unless they asked themselves what bridge it specifically was. Im sure itll end up getting the same treatment again when they finish it.

This print is inspired by Japanese Yokai, the Los Angeles River and the destruction of the 6th street bridge.

Based on the captions from some of the artists on their respective twitter / ig accounts it looks like Livenation coordinates things.

Interesting size...if the width is 18" that works out to 32" H....if 24" H the width would be approx 13.5" so I'm assuming it's closer to the former.

Edit: Ooooooooooor not. His other print ( 10/16 NYC ) was 13.75 x 24". Still, non-standard size.

I LOVE this one. Though I'm getting reaaaaally irritated that the artist has been telling everyone that they are "shipping tomorrow" for a solid two weeks now. He says the delay is because he ordered tubes, and he has never shipped posters before (???), so I am trying to be patient, but it has become difficult.

But all of the BOTP pieces speak to me, too. I enjoy that they tell a complete story starting back in 2017, and I am happy to have somehow snagged all of them, in addition to some variants and APs.

It really is a little inconvenient, but it’s one of those things where I think it all could’ve been avoided with a simple “please allow 4-6 weeks for shipping” note on the product page. I’m gonna hold out, though, especially if it’s his first time dealing with this kind of thing. I don’t wanna add to any pressure. But that should be rule #1 when it comes to providing a product/service - give yourself a workable window, otherwise you run the risk of inadvertently generating frustration. :p SO ready for those to go out.

Now that that's settled - Should anyone still be able to grab me a Miles Tsang print tonight or tomorrow, I'd be eternally grateful. :D I'm guessing they might be available later on after the tour, just judging by the fact that his last NIN print was, but something's telling me it was said somewhere that these wouldn't be? 5pm yesterday. I got in the entry line at 3:30 and was able to get a regular Klausen and the last Tsang print from the outside tent. Foils were gone. Not sure what they had inside, as we headed directly up to the balcony.

edit: success! Really pleased with how they’ve set everything up. They’re checking all buyers to make sure they have tickets to the show before letting them in to purchase. Good scalper deterrent.

My husband wanted to go to dinner early before the show, and because I didn’t want to be an asshole and ditch him to go wait in the merch line, I was pretty sure I was going to miss out. I finished and literally sprinted the six blocks or whatever from our restaurant with terrible shin splints from my boots, suppressed vomiting my panna cotta back up, and got in the outside merch line around 630 as doors were opening and was lucky enough to still grab a regular print. This thing is seriously cool. Yassssss!

Thanks for posting. I think I saw that shirt but the one right next to it, which I thought was the back of the shirt, listed all the tour dates and not the specific show date. The other shows I went to they had the back of the shirts with the specific show date prominently displayed at the merch booths and I was looking for one last night but didn’t see it but maybe I just missed it. Oh well.
