Is that a regular thing on Metal Injection, these dudes and others coming together to cover a song?
Can he do old Kreator next? I get Flag of Hate vibes...
Yes it's ongoing. Lots of band mash ups and different covers. it's neat. They got a fuck load on the channel.

They're back <3 Quit yer bickering about those stale bizkitz, 'cause these girls are bringing the next evolutionary step in nü-aesthetics. The dread from early Korn is here, without the overdone downtuned guitars and "tinny kick drums" (ok, I stole that quote from Justin Broadrick, shut up). DARK SiSTER clearly got the life.

I don't even remember how I discovered their Bandcamp years ago. Maybe it was ETS, maybe it was Twitter, beats me. The important thing is, the, as they call themselves, "NuMetal Priestesses of Kali" are here to stay. Boom, another Korn reference. I'm on a roll today.

anyone have any idea where a can get a good quality copy of the 10hr version of Weightless, i’d rather buy it if possible…

update: it’s available via itunes at £7.99 which is fine, does anyone know if i can choose the file type so i can get FLAC or ALAC if i buy it there?

I took it out for a spin last week. Really seems like something you have to sit down with, that can't be listened to while commuting/on the go. Demands attention. Lots of different styles on there. I feel like I need repeat listens because I wasn't quite sure how I felt coming away from it. It felt intensely personal.

@Shadaloo Definitely takes a few spins, but yea, you will be rewarded immensely if it's your thing..

It took me years to fully appreciate SFTB; even today, I find new things in it every time I listen. I wish I could go back and hear something like 'Volcano' or "Animus" for the very first time again. It's essentially their (at the time) 15 year existence, distilled across two discs, and feels like 50 different moods all happening at once. Unlike anything else out there, and just goddamn out there in general. To call it anything less than amazing would be a crime..

Everyone knows that you are fucked up. And everyone knows that I am fucked up. But, does everyone know that you are more fucked up than me? Well I know that. And you know that. But our purpose is to tell everyone that.

Has anyone checked out Kat Von D's new songs? Simple, but I think they're fun. Not bad at all.

The Neverly Boys - Dark Side of Everything

Though I still want more TV on the Radio, I'm glad that Dave Sitek still makes some cool music.

For those into EBM, i just discovered the ebm act, Chrome Corpse via the I Die:You Die podcast. Very reminiscent of old school ebm (ala F242) but with a modern twist.
