The new Beach House is mighty good!
I'm pretty fucking old but I really like this band. I get a similar buzz to the one I got the first time I saw Rage Against the Machine. I saw them in a tiny club opening for House of Pain. This was right around the time the first album came out. Bodies were flying!!!!!
GBV have been on a great run the past few years & this album may be the best of the bunch recorded by the current line-up. Worth noting: this line-up has been together for a pretty long time for Robert Pollard's world. Doug Gillard is a phenomenal guitar player & musician. As much as I love the "classic" line-up, this one may be better.
From The Batman.
Also listening to The Batman, really good score from Giacchino.
I cannot get enough of Poppy. I Disagree in particular.
Been on a Hendrix kick. His music only gets better over time.

This is fantastic. A collaboration record of Elvis Presley covers from two experimental french musicians in an almost Suicide, Xiu Xiu, Dirty Beaches and noir jazz style. Can't wait to pick this up on vinyl.
Content warning: actual war footage used.
unreal this song (& indeed the whole score) didn't get an oscar nomination
Been on a neo-soul kick lately. I can feel this bassline in my loins.
I love the editing in the video and the way they maintain every shot throughout. except for that one time, which is hilarious because even they know it's messed up.
Bladee / Ecco2k - Crest.
Great little electronic hip hop / hyperpop collab record.
Guided by Voices @ the 40 Watt club. From 2004, the first farewell tour haha. Amazing soundboard recording. Robert Pollard is really drunk but not out of control. It's a fine line. About 3.5 hours of really excellent music.
Album dropped today and it’s a banger.
scary lol
