The new song by that guy with the M's we're not allowed to have a thread for here is actually pretty good.
The new Jack White album is easily the best material he's made since The White Stripes.
Really looking forward to the EP of Remixes of She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She. Really great remix by Crosses
We got the fuckin' song of the year right here. Can't wait for this album.
The new Tigran Hamasyan album The Bird of a Thousand Voices.
One moment it's a piano dueling a synth to the backdrop of metal drumming and sub bass stabs, the next it's like Morricone scoring The Legend of Zelda.

A little late on this, but I saw AC/DC back in 2015 at Coachella (back when they had incredible lineups).
I was never a huge AC/DC fan but holy shit they are incredible live. May be one of the best live bands I've ever seen, and I will never miss them again if they're around. Jack White was the same, it was an amazing weekend.
I guess ETS will dig this one. It's a project from Luigi Pianezzola (live bassist from The Soft Moon).

matt johnson interview promoting the first the the album since nakedself came out on nothing records.
i found him incredibly thoughtful and charming to listen to for an hour. music is better off with him active in it again. this also made me think about the conversations trent must have had with him when he had the the signed. based on the early years of the the matt talks about here, i bet trent was geeking out. i would've loved to have been a fly on the wall there. hats off to both of 'em.
I don't recall downloading this album but I found it in my "not played yet" playlist in iTunes so threw it on. This is the first song from the album Laughing Matter and it stuck me immediately as similar to a dredg song with the piano and stuff but also at the same time as a late-stage Radiohead / Smile song, especially when the singing started.
