QOTSA has been confirmed as part of the lineup for RBC Ottawa Bluesfest on July 8th. Can't wait.
Oh, Queens are playing pointfest here in the STL. Not sure if It want to pay $107 for a pit seat for this lineup though:

The Offspring
A.F.I
Blue October
Neon Tree
The Head And The Heart
Crosses
Airborn Toxic Event
Band Of Skulls
Morning Parade
The Orwells
Chelsea Wolf
So, this was posted yesterday...
...they already confirmed a Chile date in October so i guess Mexico isn't far behind, i'm glad they are back, i'll be seeing them again in less than a year!
I think I'll fit in here.. Well, maybe over there.
From the band's official Facebook:

what happened to the "Smooth Sailing" video?
That was awesome
Great video.
Josh getting a bunch of Japanese businessmen shit-faced. Fucking great video.
::: puts karaoke with Josh Homme* on bucket list :::
*minus cocaine and dead bodies
I somehow missed this in the video. Can't. Stop. Laughing.

I feel like this is leading up to some kind of contest in which the winner gets to go on a horrifyingly awesome drunken adventure through some city in Japan with Josh.
SIGN ME UP.
So happy they announced those new NorthEast tour dates, during Era Vulgaris they went through NYC/Philly once and that was it. When I go to see the Philly show in July it'll be my 5th (and most likely last) show since ...Like Clockwork came out.
Were the victims of these attacks the other members of the band?
Yes, Troy was hit over the head with a bottle in the bar. Jon and Mikey were clubbed to death in the alley. (Dean was the bartender.)
Finally getting into the new album. I like it.
"If I Had A Tail" is a classic QOTSA pop song in the vein of "Lost Art Of Keeping A Secret," but with a more retro vibe: makes me think a little of Edwin Collins' "A Girl Like You."
Love the scuzzy, almost Godfleshian bass sound on "Keep Your Eyes Peeled."
A bit intrigued by all the God references: I don't remember God being a big QOTSA lyrical topic before.
Is there a live archive for QOTSA like RITC for NIN?
Got me a Capitol Theater ticket!
So I'm currently in Japan and it's my birthday in a few hours. The timing of this video was absolutely perfect... Pretty sure it's basically how tomorrow night is gonna go down, although fingers crossed that the grave digging doesn't come into play.
The video pretty much sums Josh's life every single day.
is there a general public sale for capitol theatre friday morning? i can't find any info about it other than on QOTSA Facebook page. If so, also what time and through what site will tix be sold? thanks
After the Reno show. He's tall.
