Man I would really kill for a Top heavy set list. These people don't know how lucky they are!

They skipped both new songs this show.
The Exploding Boy was dropped before In Between Days too.
Since these shows are so epic I'm reuploading some of my vids of rarer songs I've recorded:

I'm digging the fact that they're doing Bloodflowers as I hope they do "There Is No If..." soon.
I'm seeing them at the end of July. Early entry GA ftw!
A week and a day for me, baby
So according to setlist.fm they've only played The Big Hand 11 times!
Sorry for that part in the middle of the video where it jumps... I believe the camera battery ran out and I had to quickly
change it, then I combined the 2 clips together.
burn live is so necessary
I'd like to see Fire In Cairo, Three Imaginary Boys and Killing An Arab back in the encore... close with something other than Boys Don't Cry.
Also, I'd love to see Winter played live. Such a sad song.
By the way, during the Reflections gigs, was Pillbox Tales the only song from those eras that wasn't done live? Do The Hansa was done at one show. Looking at bsides and everything I *think* PT was the only omission...
I wish they would do "Carnage Visors" just so that everyone, including myself, would lose it.
I would kill for All Cats Are Grey, Funeral Party, Drowning Man...most anything off Faith basically. The Figurehead, Just One Kiss, or Torture.
Things I'd also love that most likely won't happen: I'm Cold, Another Journey by Train, Dredd Song, Lost, Labyrinth, Anniversary, Going Nowhere, This Morning
I feel so easily pleased in a way because all of these setlists are so good and I've not really had any "Man, I wish they'd play _____" feelings at all because of how good they are. Homesick would be pretty amazing, though.
Oh, I'm grateful plenty. It's a scenario where there's so, so very much great stuff and the band plays setlists long enough to put most others to shame, so while, as with any concert, you won't hear everything you wish you could, it's basically impossible for anyone to walk out disappointed.
Unless one is expecting a particularly Wild Mood Swings/4:13 Dream heavy setlist in which case wut
I love WMS and its b-sides...
I find 4:13 Dream to be shittier really. Though I love "Down Under" and "Without You".
i wouldn't count stuff like 'heroin face' or 'all mine' as they weren't really b-sides or released other than in live incarnations. wouldn't count 'need myself' or 'i want to be old' or any of that easy cure stuff either. 'pillbox' wasn't played (probably because they forgot that and 'hansa' because they weren't released til 85 and tried to rush them into the set), but moreso, they skipped the cult hero stuff as far as official releases from the era are concerned.
I periodically ask this so here's the 2016 edition! Does anyone know *anything* about the version of "All Cats Are Grey" in this song? Tempo-wise it does not match the album, it might be a live take, I'm not sure. Is the violin added by a 3rd party or did they do it this way live once? Enquiring minds would love to know!

So, what was the rest of the set list?
Looks like we might get a Disintegration heavy set tonight, since that one hasn't been used in a few shows, and I am ONE HUNDRED PERCENT OKAY WITH THAT.

Show was soooooooo good. So happy to have gotten as many Disintegration tracks as we did. It's fucking crazy how great these guys still sound. Especially Robert Smith. Dude's voice was really on point tonight. Beautiful spring weather, inside of a beautiful venue, with that perfect performance, such a great a night.
As much as I love Open/End and Plainsong/Disintegration, I've heard them so many times... while Give Me It has always been a pipe dream for me to hear live. And a Bloodflowers set would take me right back to the 2000 tour, which was just perfect. So I guess I'm reluctantly going to put it out there that I hope I get the latter two.
