Incredible new song. Are the lyrics transcribed anywhere?

Can't get much clearer than this.
At the very least, I hope someone somewhere is getting high quality soundboard recordings of these songs. They're so good! WHY WHY isn't this album out? These three tracks along with It Can Never Be the Same and Step Into the Light is already a great record. I don't care if the other 7 tracks are all variations on The Weedy Burton it'll still be good
Oh yes, I've got those and they are professionally produced and sound great! But these new three songs they've done live this week are fresh and I hope at the very least someone grabs some quality recording of them. Sounds like classic Cure to me. I don't remember anticipating an album more than this one now haha.
I wonder if the other album (not the "record of noise"), but the other more poppy record RS mentioned is as good as this one? In terms of songwriting?
Hard to say. I've always preferred dark Cure to light Cure. So for me probably not. But that said, I've softened over the years and I love stuff like Doing the Unstuck and Lovecats so who knows. I also would just be so happy to get this album that I'm not too concerned about the second one. It would be a bonus for sure, and in a way I like the idea of The Cure going out with a light hearted pop album on the back of one last classic. But time will tell.
October 13:
The Figurehead
(first time since 2008)
The Hanging Garden
(first time since 2016)
The Drowning Man
(first time since 2016; in Europe first time since 2011)
lol... A Night Like This wasn't even a single, yet it always seems to get slot 4-5 in set lists all the time. Love the song though.
