I've got to confess, since the announcement of the live single next month I spent the week buying THEcURE merch and listening to bootlegs of all the new material. The whole time I just felt like there was something in the air. I'm not saying that means anything, for what it's worth, but I'm holding my breath over here now.

One thing is for sure, if an album is ever released it will be the absolute most I ever enjoy a rollout and I'm going to listen to it on an endless loop.

This really feels like it, doesn't it? Ever since all that 4:14 Scream talk it's just been Robert's word, but barring the live Curaetion release, this is the first thing I think that's seemed "Official."

So as not to jinx anything, I'm sticking with if for the time being. And IF an album somehow miraculously materializes, I have no idea when it might come. I suppose if I had it my way I'd probably die of sheer joy if there was a single on Halloween and an album on Christmas.

Ok, time to stop jumping to conclusions for now. I'm just going to enjoy the ride whatever it ends up being.

My best guess is that ICNBTS makes it and SITL ends up elsewhere. I will be sad it isn't included but deep down I'll just be thankful ICNBTS makes it, as it's one of my favorite Cure songs ever at this point.

That's a cool shirt, but actually I ended up getting this faith sweatshirt I randomly found online. Couldn't even believe it exists to be honest and it wasn't even expensive. Oh, and don't look now but there's also a Downward Spiral version...

Received a plain black postcard sized envelope today with my name and address in silver writing.

Inside was what looked like a blank black postcard. Good quality card.

Noticed the tiniest embossed writing on it...a bit scattered..

Took a while - it reads "songs of a lost world"

At the bottom - in roman numerals is the date 1/11/24

Oooo ... exciting. I'm really hoping there's a big 2025 US tour to support it. They haven't played St. Louis in 24 years since Bloodflowers came out, and I'm not expecting them to ... but I'll be more than happy to make travel arrangements to see them.

My assumption is they sent them out randomly to people who made purchases off the site. Far as I can tell the only people who've received them live in the UK.
