?? What odd thing are you referring to? Did Rob delete a tweet again?

Trent tweeted:
"Honored to have worked with John Hillcoat on the music video for Ice age. You can see it this week!"
Whoah, on a side note: I had no idea that Hillcoat directed "The Proposition" and "The Road," among other films. Really looking forward to this video.

*grumbles that the promotional poster for HTDA I bought from eBay arrived before the album*
I get it, Topspin are a great company Trent, for many things. But fast shipping internationally is not one of them.
@sheepdean Is that twitter post what you were referring to? If so, what does that have to do with post-production, and finishing a video and immediately releasing footage?
Because to finish a video, if you're only shooting it, takes place more than a week before release, especially with the kind of videos I've seen of Hillcoat's.
Idk, it made more sense in my head
A director shooting a music-video for a band = band members (such as Trent) working with that director. No?
I love the NIN community, but you guys have a way to overthink Everything_.
Oh, I think I get what you mean now....
But the date he and/or Q tweeted about Hillcoat doesn't have to be the day they were actually with him.
Not sure if this got posted yet or not, but Stereogum just wrote a pretty interesting article about Trent and his Legacy: http://www.wepolls.com/p/3766817/Bes...um?tag=3760924
Ice Age video premieres at Midnight PST: https://twitter.com/mariqueen/status/273566835918647296
Damn! The "Ice Age" video premieres at midnight PST.
Video premiers at midnight PST according to Q.
EDIT: Ugh, foiled again.
Just a heads up, that excuse doesn't hold up well in court. An innocent horse is an innocent horse regardless of circumstance.... But enough about me.
Very much looking forward to seeing this video. Sadly for me it means staying up untill 3am but honestly, I seem to be doing that a lot lately so it's all good.

Idk if anyone cares, but a little IMDB-ing leads me to believe this is the L Sandgren mentioned on the slate http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0761874/
Also, I hate being in the UK when things premier at midnight for foreigners.
Reminds me of when the first EP was released. Stayed up until midnight PST (3 AM my time) and went to bed the moment I finished it. I'm expecting good things from this video.
I've only been here since the release of TGWTDT but I was up untill about 6am waiting for my download. Never arrived so I went to bed and got it when I woke up depressingly. Now however it isn't so bad. I work untill 1am now so I'm generally up late (or early if you prefer) all the time anyways. It just means I get to see it earlier than expected so it actually works out better for me. Huzzah!
Nothing's as bad as when Ghosts dropped. Nothing.
At least midnight PST is 8 in the morning your time. That's not that bad. It's 3AM here.
Also, so that people don't start crying too much if it's not actually up when midnight PST gets here, their blog says it'll be up AROUND midnight, so not necessarily right then.

Around = preferably at midnight, but server issues may not comply, imo.
@ work nightshift
could not be better
I seem to have made a silly boo boo. PST certainly isn't 3am here. I think it is infact roughly 8am? At any rate, bugger that. I'll catch it in the morning
3 AM is more like 3 PM for me. I'm always awake then. I'll definitely be watching it as soon as its available. Now they need to get Fincher to do a video.
Were you around during the break between The Downward Spiral and The Fragile, or for the post-AATCHB drought of 2003? Let's talk about bad...Nothing's as bad as when Ghosts dropped. Nothing.
Bleeeeeeedthrough.

I have to say...this video takes the song to a completely different level.
