I loved it. Cable companies in a nutshell.
I loved it. Cable companies in a nutshell.
fucking hilarious.
my cable company loves screwing me over channels too so was nice to laugh aboot it.
I really wish I know someone like Randy Marsh in real life.
They made fun of the very exact reason why they piss me off. I can't watch certain shows because they're part of the sports package, even though they aren't even sports related... Yeah, I'm looking at you, FXX and G4!
"There's a whole plug I have to pull out, it's like 4 inches long"
OH MY GOD, DEAD AND BURIED.
Randy Marsh made the episode for me. I fucking love that guy.
"ouchie ouchie mummy raped my no-no"
ahhhhhhhhhhLOL.
I liked how they also poked fun at the available shitty time-slots from cable company service on Informative Murder Porn. If I remembered correctly, that was 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM? And to think that they sometimes don't even show up afterwards. I also remember this being mentioned for just a little bit in Seinfeld too. And I've always wondered about the packages. It really would be nice if you can select for the channels you want, and only have them to pay for. But of course it's not that simple.
I also thought I'd see more scenes with Minecraft like they did with World of Warcraft on Make Love, Not Warcraft, but that still didn't ruin it for me so I was good. I like the way this run has been going so far and I also like any episode with Randy Marsh in it for reasons previously stated, and any episode where Cartman is actually helpful, despite being his regular old annoying self to the other characters. And the whole porn joke sort of reminded me of Creme Fraiche joke, but with murder instead of food. And my oh my, what a perfect ending. I actually thought that Randy would've attacked Sharon first.
Yeah the cable thing is great. Even if you dont get the cable, you still have to pay them for the internet.
It why i get all my tv from the internet. Put it on a thumb drive, stick it in the tv.
Finally got round to seeing the first episode of season 17. After all these years South Park is still brilliant. Amazing.
The next time someone asks me to do something, I'm going to rub my nipples as I sarcastically talk down to them.
Or next time you have someone bent over a barrell
Seems like the next episode is regarding the George Zimmerman trial. That didn't take long
It makes me wonder how they'd satirize both liberal/Democrat and conservative/Republican sides of that overall debate/topic. I always enjoyed at how excellent they were at that. (And they still are.)
That was horrible. That was definitely one of the worst episodes I had ever seen. With the exception of the Zimmerman execution. I didn't laugh once nor did I care for anything Cartman did.
goddamn it. time to kill this show. It's done. This is bullshit.
Worst episode ever.
Loved it. Not sure what i was trying to say, but I thought it was very funny.
I just had to see it after you said that. Almost everything goes wrong with the "And it was all a dream." angle. But then Cartman actually shot Token. And yeah, it was a bit of a downer to me too. I thought it would be one of those episodes I'd like to watch over and over again. I'll admit that I liked how they captured Cartman's delusions, arrogance, and narcissism though. (With him hearing everything in his voice while dreaming, in a dream, along with the typical black jokes from Cartman, but I could also see how that could be run into the ground just like the Jew jokes.)
And I really want the show to live... however, it would suck if all of them left me feeling like this. I actually liked the previous two episodes as well.

I got round to watching World War Zimmerman... ugh. It just wasn't funny at all, it was just bland. First 2 episodes were great, this one just sucked. Hopefully episode 4 isn't so bad
Same here, South Park has been really consistent over the years, with a few dips in quality.. but none as bad as this IMO. I still have hope Season 17 can be great though, hopefully Matt and Trey can prove me right!

No new episode tonight. Apparently their studio suffered a power cut last night and there was no way to finish the episode in time. It'll be on next Wednesday.
So now that they have an extra week to work on the episode it will be twice as good, right?
I still haven't seen the last two or so episodes. Didn't have much interest after the premiere even though I didn't hate it.
saw the preview of the next episode, which seems to be about the goth kids can't wait!
Same here, as I've been wondering when they'd bring the goth kids back. I think I just liked about every single episode that included them so far.
I actually was sent to a behavior modification school as a fifteen year old goth kid so this should be interesting at least...
that stuff actually exists? I mean, I knew there were some for being gay....But gothic?
/edit. I just read through that and it seems like I'm saying that the ones for gay people are ok. They're not. I think they're the stupidest thing ever. I just wasn't aware of ones for goth kids so it took me by surprise

*shrug* America. My teachers used to ask me where I got my stuff.
I never dressed like a goth but when I was 15 I was sent to the school counseller for being a Marilyn Manson fan.
The principal used to judge me too cos I had a Cartman keychain on my bagpack haha.
It was actually more drug/rehab oriented. It. Was disciplinary in nature.... No one was really there for being "goth" or whatever.
I was there for playing too kanybvideo games and getting in fights with my parents! But those places are no joke. They ruin lives.
Also for what its worth i was shit at being goth, ha, such a wannabe.
