Nosaj Thing just posted on twitter that he's got a few remixes on the way including one for How to destroy angels. Cool. I wonder for what song, and if it's part of a larger release from HTDA.

Oh it would be nice if there was a remix EP that wasn't a secret 12" hidden in an album package
Can anyone id the keyboard in the HTDA rehearsal picture that they blasted? http://t.co/QWNXgLczAo
I think it is Nord Electro 4.
thanks, spot on
weird choice... sounds don't seem right for HTDA and that's a really weird choice for a midi controller...
wonder what they're up to
I was reading an article about Nosaj Thing, who is a pretty awesome experimental and downtempo electronic music producer.
The article was about how he is working with Prefuse 73, another great electronic music producer, on a new project and then it mentioned this...
http://potholesinmyblog.com/nosaj-th...th-prefuse-73/On top of that, Nosaj also announced an EP of his own, a King Krule remix, and a How To Destroy Angels remix.
HTDA listed among the "Must See" acts at this year's Coachella. Of course, the publicity still they use is of Trent performing at a NIN concert:

Moment Factory blog. Spoiler alert!!
ouch

At midnight, behind a scrim, How to Destroy Angels took the stage in the Mojave tent. A side project of Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails — it also features his wife — it is a drowsy approximation of trip-hop, and is curiously inert, especially from someone so tactile and ferocious in his day job. Maybe he has nothing left to give.
Just spotted that Trent is wearing glasses in the 2nd picture on that moment factory blog. I don't know why I found that so weird..
Spin.com: the 50 best things we saw at Coachella.
"Best Distraction: HOW TO DESTROY ANGELS
How to Destroy Angels are not the Trent Reznor project that anyone really wants to see live, but credit to the Nine Inch Nails maven for making it worth our while anyway."
A positive review from Billboard on the live HTDA shows

Wired has a neat article extending the BTS stuff for the live show effects http://www.wired.com/underwire/2013/...estroy-angels/
At one time it was only going to be Coachella? Wow.
i apologize in advance for not remembering the date or teams
BUT
how long was played on an NBA commercial a few weeks ago.
The lyrics are, of course, perfect for it (the "how long can we keep holdin' on" part,) as late as it is in the season.
Isn't that Welcome Oblivion he picks up there?
That's fucking HARSH. And HTDA isn't trip-hop. They don't really fit in with Tricky and Portishead now, do they? All this HTDA animosity is starting to get on my nerves. I've been listening to NIN for 21 years. And i'm not bitching and whining because the man who made all that music that i've so loved for DECADES wanted to, god forbid, do a side project. i find all of this very confusing.
Ok, sorry for the off topic rant.
i'm probably late to the show but just in case
300 views...guessing i'm not late
oh....oh...i'm late

Not really a spotting.
tumblr logged me out for some reason and when i went to log back in, this was the background (unfortunate that it was a lower res image that they just blew up so it's pretty pixelated).
