99% of the podcast is re:
- Movies they both like and why
- Movies that Rob would like to make or has tried to make
- Rob on witnessing violence in life (why he likes writing about it)
- What it was like working with the Weinsteins
- Brief mention of White Zombie when getting signed to Geffen.
Ended up watching it all. Very entertaining!
It doesn't make sense but it does.
New song is awesome. Reminds me A LOT of White Zombie.

Yup, new song is like a White Zombie banger. I’m impressed.
@virushopper
Good old Rob announcing it on Halloween.
Love the song. Very creative
Which ones do you guys think are gonna be instrumentals/interludes?
I hope the vibe of that song is a sign of how the album will be.
Been listening to Rob on Apple Music and pissed to notice how many songs are censored (they just mute the curse word with silence).
Really weird though; they’ll censor “why we’re fucked” in Trade In Your Guns For A Coffin (and various other songs), but “rock motherfucker” from Sick Bubblegum isn’t censored at all.
If you are paying for a service, no music should be censored.
Lovin these new songs
drippety drip drip
Up to “18th Century...”
That song is so fucking rockabilly hahaha, love it.
Boom-Boom-Boom is a lot darker than the title suggests.
Album isn't good. It's not terrible, but I'm not gonna ever throw it on and listen to the whole thing again. Def. trying to do more and has way more creative merit than anything he's done in years, but not a return to the White Zombie sound outside of a few tracks. Only tracks that jibed with me were King Freak, Eternal Struggles, Get Loose & Crow Killer Blues. Those are really good though if you like White Zombie/early Rob Zombie.
I really dig it, but man there are so many instrumental short interludes just to make the track list look extra long lol
I like it. It's fun as hell. Might be better than his last two albums as well. I don't know if I'd agree with John 5's assessment that this was the heaviest music he's ever made, but I really enjoyed it.
One things for sure, John 5, Ginger Fish and Piggy D shine on this record. Amazing! Rob's voice is pretty awesome too, some of the lyrics are a bit cringe...I guess that's standard these days with his records though.

I dig that “reptiles rise” line.
