So very, very excited to see LCD Soundsystem again.

6/10 - Tool (Vienna)
6/12 - The Smile (Praha)
6/16 - The Smashing Pumpkins w/Tom Morello (Paris)
Just got tickets to see Little Big in June. They spoke out against the war in Ukraine so they are now an American act, of a sorts. lol
May is looking pretty good (& spendy). The Stones on May 15 & Pearl Jam on May 30. Those are my big budget shows for the summer. Everything else is much more reasonably priced.
No one plays near me, so the next thing I’m looking at is louder than life in September. Slipknot (hopefully playing the first album in full), Better Lovers, three 6 mafia, slayer, HEALTH, Spiritbox and Korn are the artists im most excited to see. Also Danny Lohner will be playing with Till Lindemann which is cool. Filter is there as well
Going to Brooklyn in a little over a week to see Deadmau5 and his Retrospective show. He's playing a 3 hours set. Should be awesome!

Unrelated but I found this while trying to google info on the tour:
Sessanta 229 West 60th - Luxury Upper West Side Apartments - Sessanta 229 West 60th (sessanta60.com)
It's weird that it's also Sessanta 60, right?
Saw Oneohtrix Point Never last Tuesday in Chicago. Damn, what a great show! Got to hear a few favorites, and become a bit more acquainted with some of his earlier work too. Arushi Jain put on a very lush and moody performance as the opening act too.
Might try to swing up to Cincinnati in July to see Foo Fighters.
02/29: Silversun Pickups
04/25: The Queers
05/01: Sessanta
05/17: Bad Religion and Social D
06/09: The Mars Volta
06/19: Taking Back Sunday
08/06: Slipknot
09/20: Megadeth and Mudvayne
Going to see The Lords Of Acid tomorrow. Pretty stoked!
Saw LCD Soundsystem for the first time last night in Seattle. Fantastic show.
Glad I decided to not go to LCD lastnight. garbage setlist. Hope those going tonight staying safe, that tornado stuff is bad but maybe all passed
I disagree. Maybe it's because it was my first time, but it was a good mix of stuff. The crowd was way into it too. There were a few songs I would have loved to have heard, but I got to hear some other favorites and danced my ass off, so I was more than satisfied.
EDIT: And naturally they played "Yeah" last night. Bastards.

Saw Avril Lavigne last week with my wife. That was a lot to sit through but it will have to wait until next week for actual thoughts. I've been away from work visiting elderly relatives for the past three weeks and I need time to clarify thoughts.
That said, we're going to be seeing Little Big Monday night and I'm excited about that. They appear to be doing a highly produced show so the setlist is pretty much set in stone:

I was in Anaheim, California, last weekend to see the Offspring at Honda Center for the 30th anniversary of their album Smash. Was it worth flying 1600 miles to see them live for the 10th time? (First time outside of Minnesota or Wisconsin?) Hell yeah, it was! And I'm going to see them again in July but this time it will be at a festival in my area.
By the way, as long as I was in Anaheim for this concert, I also went to an Angels baseball game and spent a day at Disneyland. I would have kicked myself for the rest of my life if I didn't include Disneyland.
Everyone should find a way to check out the Sphere. I've never experienced anything like it.
Riot Fest lineup out. They've also had to move to a stadium area due to struggles with the parks.

Sparta are playing Post festival near me in July. It's like 60 bucks and I don't know many of the other bands playing.
16 year old me would be flipping out at the chance to see both Sparta and The Mars Volta in the same summer, though, which I never did during their heyday.
Apparently they play as a three piece now.

Went to that Loserville tour last night, mostly to see Bones and to laugh at Corey Feldman. Limp Bizkit was easily the worst part of it. Just straight up WWF games on Playstation 2 vibes the entire night. Never got into them, and I would've taken much more of just Riff Raff walking around the crowd lol.
Bones and the SESH crew were great, and holy shit - I didn't expect N8NOFACE to be as intense live.
Fun show minus the headliner.
Minnesota Yacht Club Festival was a lot of fun! I went for the Offspring and Gwen Stefani. I stayed for Joan Jett, Alanis Morissette, Soul Asylum, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. (The Black Crowes cancelled at the last minute due to illness.) I heard that the lines for food and drinks were ridiculous (need more vendors for that). Also, the cell phone and internet receptions were nonexistent due to being bogged down by so many people in one area. Hopefully these can be resolved next year and it can become an annual thing like so many other regional summer and fall music festivals.
(Yes, I did see the Offspring twice in a 7-week time span. The Anaheim concert was announced first and I had that and the trip all set well before Yacht Club was announced.)
