so it looks like Ghost have recruited a "new" singer for album number 3 and new single will be out in June!
Interestingly the album's producer is Klas Åhlund from the Teddybears who usually produces pop stuff. Cannot wait!
lol wonder what papa 3 will look like... i quite liked the john waters/anton lavey incarnation
After awhile, the second album grew won me to where I like these guys now more than I did previously. So there's going to be a new vocalist? I'm sure it'll sound similar.
Its an inside joke. It will still be the same guy under the mask.
they say Papa III is Papa II's younger brother by 3 months... lol
new video coming soon!

new album out August 21st!
Titled "Meliora" with first single "Circle" out by June
Fuck yesssssssssssssssssssss!
Here is a Ghost ad that was spotted on TV that teases some interesting changes from the band coming soon.
The quality is not the greatest, since it is taped directly off the TV using a camera or phone, but you get the idea.
I laughed when she said "3 months younger"
Damn I can't wait!
01. Spirit
02. From The Pinnacle To The Pit
03. Cirice
04. Spöksonat
05. He Is
06. Mummy Dust
07. Majesty
08. Devil Church
09. Absolution
10. Deus In Absentia
so looks like the first single is Cirice, and not Circle as earlier reported
Cirice! Hail Papa \m/

what a band, so excited for this record!
What a fantastic track! This may be my most anticipated album of the rest of the year now. Especially after already hearing Lindemann's first single, yuck. Ghost takes the award for album of the year, I can feel it now!
Looking forward to seeing these guys live again as well. Hopefully we get some tour dates once the album drops.
Refused and Ghost in the same year, never would have dreamt of this. The only Swedish bands I kinda listen to hah!
Awesome song. Not sure if I missed it, but is the artwork an intentional reference to Silence of the Lambs, or was the Silence of the Lambs cover created off of some satanic symbolism?
Their first and second album covers are based off of movie posters, the first being Salem's Lot and the second being Amadeus. They didn't keep up the trend with the third album, but the single cover for this song does.
Cirice is excellent. Also, spöksonat translates to ghost sonnet.
Ahh, Ok. I've not seen either of those movies, which is probably why I didn't make the connection on those two albums. I really enjoy all of their work, but I felt a bit awkward blasting Infestissumam in my car with my friends just because sometimes the lyrics came off as juvenile. All in all, that was a great rock record though.
Oh, since no one mentioned it. The new single, Cirice, is for free download on their official website.
I like the song. As said some time ago, they've grown on me.
Really like the Silence of the Lambs cover. Cirice is very good. I wasn't too sure about it the first listen but it's growing on me. Kind of the same way Secular Haze did, which means in a week I'll love it.
Thought this was interesting.
Fuck, how good is the riffage in Cirice?
Papa III?!
he looks very much like this older brother....
saw this on the Metallica forum, Papa II passing the reigns to Papa III haha!
