A Ghost group I'm in found that if you look through Fandango, you can see where they're going to be playing the movie.

They're only playing it in CT and NJ - no NY! What the hell?! How do you not play it in NYC at least?? I hope they have more places when they announce it on the 9th.

And I'm sure it'll be available for streaming afterwards, right? It's 2 hours and 25 minutes long!

I take back my last comment. More dates are being leaked now. NY shows will be available.

    This lady is excited.

I bought a ticket on Fandango. Me and my girlfriend will see the show on the 22nd.

Man I miss what Ghost used to be and what they are now. As the years go by and popularity explodes it makes me a bit sadder (not that they don't deserve it). Tik tok exposure created the type of shit I hate for this band.

In other news the OST and merch has expanded with releases.

I like plenty of bands that have stayed relatively niche. (And even most of those have had changes to their sound over the years). I'm actually glad to see one of them blow up enough to headline festivals and hire more musicians and make a movie.

When I seen them in 2016 it was $40.00. When I seen them in 2018 to get a good seat (basically have to buy VIP) it was $200.00. When I seen them in 2022 it was $250.00 (again to get a decent spot you need VIP). Not a fan of small arena shows. Prefer the intimate club/small venue settings for live shows. The prices have gotten worse as does the ability to see them due to ticket count scarcity.

My showing is Saturday at 3pm too. I'm super excited!

If you are going to dress up - make sure your movie theater allows masks/makeup!

I'm not. Stuff gets stifled anyways. I'll be dying wearing that latex mask.

Loved the new song and film as a whole. Great shit. Better release it on Blu-ray so I can buy it up.

The official band merch store and the Loma Vista store has popcorn buckets and drink tumblers on sale now for those interested. 16.00 and 14.99 respectively on each site.

Loved the movie! It was definitely a lot of fun. For those curious - it was 90% concert and 10% dialogue.

It was only me and two other dudes that dressed up. Everyone was in Ghost t-shirts.

My theater was pretty quiet throughout the movie. I think I was the only one visibly rocking my head and playing air guitar & drums.

My only complaint is Spoiler: I think they cut the scenes too fast at times. I wanted to see some of the musicians playing their instruments, and especially the skeleton dancers! They were wicked cool. I wanted to see them head on as a whole, but the fast cuts chopped out a lot of the dance routine.

Oh, and obviously Spoiler: the whole theater groaned as whole at the end, lol. AND! Spoiler: It's his twin!

I'd never seen a concert movie in theaters before, and I gotta say I'm one hundred percent sold on the concept. Way more immersive than watching a YouTube video on my tablet, but less overpowering than a live show. Because it was almost certainly produced and edited to no end, there wasn't any of the band mixing or venue issues or rough performances you sometimes get at a concert.

Apparently it's going to be available for rental on Veeps next weekend, if you don't live near a theatre showing it.

Loved it, it's not your "standard ghost track", but fits perfectly with "Kiss the go-goat" and "Mary on a cross" moods, i would love an album or EP in that style.

It was intentionally to fit that style - it's a song by Papa Nihil from the 70's, apologizing to Sister Imperator. That is why in the movie, Papa Nihil says to Copia Spoiler: "I have 3 songs." That's the 3rd song.

OST tracklist is edited and basically a fuck you to older songs (aka not Copia/IV tracks).

    Tracklist via Target

    Side A
    1. Imperium
    2. Kaisarion
    3. Rats
    4. Faith
    5. Spillways
    Side B
    1. Cirice
    2. Absolution
    3. Call Me Little Sunshine
    4. Watcher In The Sky
    Side C
    19. If You Have Ghosts
    20. Twenties
    21. Miasma
    22. Mary On A Cross
    Side D
    23. Respite On The Spitalfields
    24. Kiss The Go Goat
    25. Dance Macabre
    26. Square Hammer
    27. The Future Is A Foreign Land

They removed Ritual (my favorite song by band), Year Zero (WTF!?), He Is (a fan favorite), Con Clavi Con Dio (underrated fave) and Mummy Dust (another good one). Likely time constraints but still kinda shitty if you ask me.

Year Zero, He Is, and Mummy Dust (expecially since it's always a memorable part of their live show) are the most surprising omissions. I understand the time constraints tied to physical media, but there's really no reason that the streaming version can't have the full setlist. Also, I'd bet that most of the people buying the CD and/or vinyl would happily pay a little extra for an expanded 2CD or 3LP version.

(I just wanted to add another thought to this)
...at the same time, all five of those songs are included on Ceremony and Devotion, so I can understand the desire to highlight new songs and other songs that weren't included in that release to differentiate it from that release and avoid too much overlap. Either way, the inevitable blu-ray will include everything. But they SHOULD have an expanded version on streaming.
