I think the most famous bands with this label are Band Of Skulls and Enter Shikari (and now Placebo)

So, isn't a big label, let's hope that means Placebo will release a more interesting records than the last ones.

Band of Skulls are with that label. As long as the new tunes are kicking, that's all I care about. Maybe another American tour lol

Placebo is running a "Summer Festival Lockdown series", they will release an old concert tape each week, they started with Uk's 1996 Phoenix Festival:

Eurockéennes de Belfort 1997, with great early renditions of WYIN and Evil Dildo! Seems like the portion of the set with Kitsch Object got cut though, if setlist.fm is accurate anyway.

Oh yeah, PJ/Placebo is something that needs to happen; in a way it could have been something similar to the Asia Argento/Molko collaboration:

interesting! i had no idea that existed.

i feel like if PJ & brian collaborated i'd want it to be more raw & organic than electronic, but that's just me.

I also imagine something similar to the "Sleeping with Ghosts" era, with PJ

    https://placebo.backstreetmerch.com/...or-us-to-dream

Looks like they're sick of holding onto extra copies of the Place for Us to Dream 4lp boxset; it's onsale for $27 right now. I will say the copy I have sounds great. Not sure there's anything exclusive on it (maybe at the time the horribly mediocre Jesus' Son, and so-so reworkings of 36 Degrees and I Know) but it's a solid collection of their whole catalogue.

edit - Disappointingly they didn't bother to include Narcoleptic, the song the title comes from. Sheesh, guys.

Not a bad track -- def hear the BFTS sound.

I think I am spoiled by how great Without You Im Nothing is and that particular sound of that time. I ended up really enjoying LLL surprisingly and will probably love this new album as well. haha

Reminded me to "I Do" and "Ashtray Heart".

How did I just find out about this now. It's pretty ok; I am still amazed that Brian's voice sounds so good all these years later.
