Hot damn. I would love to go to that. Neutral Milk Hotel!? Faaack.
If this is my chance to see NIN & HDTA this year, I will definitely need to go.
Birthday present decided.
I may have to finally make the trip to Ashville. 5 hour drive, need to get hotels and such, but oh well. I was planning on trying to check out the real Moogfest in 2014, but this is definitely tempting me. I wish we knew all the tour dates, I'd hate to make that trip and find out they're playing DC or somewhere by themselves around the same time.
Boy did I pick the right time to move back to Asheville. Huzzah!! We should do a meetup/campout for the shows!
I'm down for a meetup/campout ... i've been looking at the prices of all the hotels in the area and it's fucking retarded. Of course the hotels would double there usual rates.
My husband and I will be driving down early early on friday from baldmore; I've booked a 3pm tour of the Moog Factory ... super psyched to play about this ...
So ... does anyone here have any suggestions on where to stay ... my husband and I at this point have decided to just wing it ... and give a big FU to the hotels down there raping the music lovers of their blood money. (I'd much rather buy a moogerfooger than pay for a hotel ... ya know?!!!)
Hmmm, so the thought has crossed my mind ... sleep under some trees in one of the city parks ... So, who's up for meeting up and possibly coming up with a creative solution for a place to crash?
Oh! and if you're a gear whore ... call Moog and book/reserve a space for the factory tour ... cheers
This is an hour away from my parents house. Asheville is awesome. I'm so going to this. . . Does anyone know these types of things work? Will NIN have separate tickets, or do you just need a festival wrist band? Both?
Oh wow, what a lineup! Hmm, this one or Voodoo? My bff has a house in Granite Falls that he's selling this year, only an hour away from Asheville. Would be nice to see the place one last time and go to this festival.
Road trip from Tampa might be feasible if I can get some people to go. Lineup looks incredible.
Plus, panel discussions? Hell yes.
I'm not going to miss this. Neutral Milk Hotel, NIN, HTDA, Godspeed... Yum!
Also, co-workers familiar with the area say that Asheville is a great place. Is it October yet?

Just got the OK from the wife to buy weekend passes on Thursday. w00t!
Voodoo! pick Voodoo!
PURCHASED! See you all there.
Just picked up my weekend pass. This is going to be sick. . .
Vacation home booked. Oh yes!
Got a ticket for 169 lol . The lineup is insane !!!plus more to come. Steal
I got my tix also. Wish I could do Voodoo just because it's Voodoo but this is closer to me and that lineup is really amazing. Plus all the venues are right in town and within walking distance from lots of hotels.
got tickets right after they went on sale. see you fuckers in asheville. will be nice for the wife and i to hit the old stomping grounds again! a few weeks to late to make this our 2 year anniversary.
Our company is about to open a laser engraving shop in Elberton, GA (two hours away!) so I'm now going to try to extend this trip and turn it into some sort of business related adventure.
SO NIN are playing Saturday October 26th! Day by day breakdown was announced today, with HTDA performing Sunday... Ill be there!
Definitely gotta go to this
The official tour page includes this show under the Tension arena tour... so I'm guessing we're getting the full stage production!
I have two all-festival passes for this that I'm looking to get rid of. They're the Wave 1 price and I'm looking to sell them at cost. Message me and let me know if you're interested!
Looks like the schedule has semi-updated. Line-up per day is available.
NIN on Saturday
HTDA on Sunday
I'm really excited for some of the other names though. Some I've been waiting to see for years like The Orb and J.G.Thirlwell (in collab).
I know this is listed under the Tension tour, but is there any way to find out definitively if this show will have the festival setup or the full tour setup? I'd hate to miss on the big production, especially considering this will be my wife's first time seeing NIN, and the Atlanta show is a few days before... thoughts?
Ask Rob on Twitter.
Since HTDA won't be able to attend, does anyone need a wristband for Sunday?
