September 3?! Booooo!
September 3?! Booooo!
is it just me or is the vocal delivery in the verse totally somewhat damaged?
This fucking song gets better with every listen.
I was thinking the vocal delivery in this song was very 'Fragile' era like...I mean it still feels in line with stuff Trent was writing and putting out post With Teeth material....and the song does have a flow of that material but there's a lot of interesting things going on in the song.
I can't wait to hear the rest of this album! All of this had my day!
i want that track in better quality than 128 ... the ship to honduras is too expensive
For some reason this song keeps making me want to listen to Freak by LFO
the N part of the NIN logo looks so out of place with the rest of the album cover. I mean, it just looks like a computer graphic overlay..it doesn't fit in with the rest of it.
ahahah yeah I was looking at it and wondering "damnit, they could at least have preserved the texture and just changed the hue accordingly... Maybe I can cut the logo off, clone the texture back, and copy the N back again in color mode..."
Sooo yeah, I'm gonna have to grab a beer and work in the garden, because when I think about slightly tweaking covers in photoshop, it's time to get some fresh air...
Shit. Song rules.
I won't say I don't get why people don't like the song. However there are just a lot of tasteful things instrumentally.
Welcome to the new direction for NIN folks. It's fun, catchy, safe, and enjoyable for the whole family. Let's call it DIET NIN. More fluffy clouds, and a whole shit less of head-exploding. Bring out the unicorns and let them dance to this...me? I'm not.
All I can seem to find is the dance remix. Where the original version of the song?
So the vinyl does not come with the booklet and remixes?
I got something you have to shee
am I hearing him say "came back a coke-head" around 2:26?
Still reminding me of Closer To god mixed with Survivalism.
Hey, the second wave of NIN fans woke up ! Let's rip Reznor a new one guys !
I like that it's light, fun, catchy, "safe", as you say... if I listen to the more angsty self-loathing tracks, I find myself cringing pretty hard nowadays. It's just that stuff like Year Zero is much more enjoyable for me now, lyrically.
So... yay for upbeat NIN!
Though judging from the artwork and such, this seems to be a follow-up to TDS, so I'm probably going to eat my words. Oh well, I've never been more excited to do so!
Aw oh well. I stopped listening at 2 minutes, got bored/irritated with the beat. It's hard listening to this after being on a kick of non-electronic music. Once again, I'll go find the exit door now.

Like it! Woke up this morning to listen to this, see the tour dates and Album will be release a little over a week before my birthday....Good stuff!
hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
12 hours later, this track is still rocking my world. It's sort of a jolt to go from the lyrical genius of QOTSA to a song with the basest Reznorisms, but the track is fucking sick as hell and I'm happy. It's amazing that all this great music is coming out in what has been an awful week for me. Thanks, universe.
