That is a very nice looking setlist.
Home after dropping wife at Scala (and taking youngest boy to see dinosaurs as a way of keeping my mind off the gig, lol). She got right onto the barrier, just left of centre. I took some cool pics of the line as we dropped her off - kudos to the couple at the front who had been there since 6am! Got a nice pic of you both - pm me if you want a copy. Awesome set list. Really glad it's not a live performance of all of HM - that would have been tough to miss. Hope you all are having a blast. Say hi to my wife Nic if you see her, lol!
With the exception of disappointed, it's a setlist straight out of the Year Zero era tours....awesome
Yeah, it reminds me a lot of the setlists from the Performance 2007 tour. Very sweet. Ooh - lovely wife bought me a Scala shirt! Now I can wear it and be all "Man, you had to be there. It was the shit" like a proper poseur. And then go home and weep quietly to myself.
keep the pics and vids coming!
all my NIN shows have been at stadiums or festivals. Top of my bucket list is to see them at a venue! These pics will have to do for now...
For those not attending this show, we're all chatting over here: http://www.echoingthesound.org/commu...Thread/page108
EDIT: I'm a dumbass, wrong thread.
Let's not get carried away; that's a very nice setlist, but it doesn't top some of the amazing stuff we got during YZ and WG.
I fucking managed to get in!!!
I hope everyone who managed to get in enjoyed the show.
I waited until 21:30, at which point there were a mere five desperate fans standing at the door. Security were being fucking hard-arses about letting us in despite the fact that according to them, the venue was not up to capacity.
Thanks to all the lovely people who stopped for a chat. I would probably have gone mad if not for you. See you in April!
That was an awesome gig! Neat set list, for a small venue, the lighting was good too! A few notes:
survivalism is great live.
disappointed is ok, josh playing the zither thing and robin the violin is great, and the middle is really chunky, but it tails off too much
Trents vocals are on top form.
Burn sounds great.
Still no 'Slave screams'...
The day the world went away! Never heard that live! Josh, Trent and robin in a circle all jamming it was awesome!
im afraid of Americans!
not enough HT! No hau hau haunted or copy of a?
scala is the best venue I've ever been too! Small, personal, loud, and slippery!
i was the one who shouted "play something REALLY rare!" Hi to izzy and dan from soton!!
There was dude with a placard outside...'I flew in from New York, any one with a spare ticket?!'
specfic Scala 2013 tees....damn, why didn't I get one?!
loads more on my mind!
ditto - just following the desperation and drama of wanting a ticket, sure is nice to see a happy ending for @rhet .
Ace gig. The left setlist that a girl had a hold of listed la mer above tdtwwa. Was not on the right hand one (robin's side) which was in front of me. Regards all!
So did they play La Mer or not?
me and about 5 other people near front entrance begging came into a woman who was waving a wad of tickets. as band were on late security wanted everyone in venue so did not check i.ds we legged it up stairs got in crowd just as opening riffs to pinion were blaring. Stood behind drummer from muse. Very fucking lucky woman was a god thought there was no chance was so chaotic outside venue. Band were great . Venue was awesome so grateful still trying to get my head around how it happened! Saw alan moulder outside too. Amazing gig.
Aww thanks guys! I couldn't have done it without ets.. Especially the amazing @zephyr ! I didn't get a chance to thank you again before you left so thanks again!! Hope you enjoyed you first nin show
My phones dead now but I'll post some pics tomorrow.. Shame there was no tapers cause I want to relive that over and over!
Also no,. La mer wasn't played just for the record.
See you all in April!
As no one appears to have posted a picture of it yet:
But they opened with Pinion first, though it was pre-recorded

We pretty much did.
There's a garbled review on Facebook, but I was in front of Ninjaw's friend of the show which gives you an idea of my perspective!
Very happy everything pulled together at the last minute for lots of people. Glad to have a hand in helping a couple of people get tickets - @rhet had been waiting since 10am on the offchance - so some of you missed out! There were also spares available (I'm told) a while after doors opened. I didn't see any scalpers there myself, luckily.
Uh, yeah, and then NIN came on and played songs. Very minimal production which always means great setlist. See earlier photo for proof.
I've missed this so much.
Yeah, 2008 totally had no Slip songs.
It's as if The Slip never existed...
Two versions of the setlist were made. My friend got one that said scala v 2.0. This is the one that was played and the photo posted here.
If nobody's mentioned it, it was the 2013 Sanctified that was played.
I was the only person in a HTDA shirt I think, y'all are posers
Couldn't think of any better first show souvenirs... Can't think straight. Mind is buzzing my body is about to collapse
