I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore, is quite good. Melanie Lynskey, Elijah Wood, and David Yow, among others.

The Salvation, starring Mads Mikkelsen and Eva Green, is a really good western.
Two new stand up specials from Dave Chappelle just dropped, and I couldn't be more hyped.
Any opinions on Iron Fist yet?
Me and my girl just finished it last night. It reminds me of Luke Cage as I found the first season to be utterly boring at times, but when it was good, it was really good. Finn Jones is ok playing Danny Rand, but you cannot blame him or the other actors/actresses with the shitty writing this show has. They do the best they can with what they have, but I feel Tom Pelphrey was the standout actor here. You can watch as his character goes through some crazy transformations as an individual. Danny Rand is probably the dumbest character out of the bunch due to the fact that his mentality in the show is pretty adolescent, but sometimes it doesn't hold up because of the writing. He will make smart decisions one minute, and then make ridiculous ones the minute after.
All in all, I enjoyed my time with Iron Fist, and if you really put some thought into it, he can be the most powerful out of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage. He barely even knows anything about his powers, and he still doesn't know much after the season ends so the character definitely had a great origin story and growth in my opinion. It is nowhere near as bad as everyone is making it out to be.
Due to overwhelming fan support, Netflix has greenlit a 'proper send off' two hour Sense8 finale movie to film later this year and air next year. Interesting....
Is no one seriously watching this new series? Fucking stellar show! About to watch season one's finale. Soooo gooood!!!
@decadent
Dark? Yes, it is very dark.
Were people expecting a comedy or something?

Just finished the season finale of Ozark...
Fuck.
Me.
That was intense.
"The Keepers"
Wow
It's really hard to watch (especially if you were Christened and raised as Catholic) but it's riveting. I binge-watched nearly all the episodes in one sitting. I have two more to go but I suspect it won't end well. It's really haunting and brilliant.
Disney just announced that it's pulling all of its movies/content from Netflix and launching its own streaming service in 2019. Guess that'll include Marvel, etc.? Ugh...
Icarus was pretty darn entertaining.
‘Sense8’ could be returning to screens thanks to Porn site xHamster

Anyone here watching the new German Netflix series Dark? An article called it the next Stranger Things, so I decided to check it out. Three episodes in and I am intrigued. You can watch it dubbed in English, but I prefer watching it with its original German dialogue and English subtitles. I always disliked dubbing and rather watch things in their intended language.
New Sabrina series gets two-season order from Netflix
The series is based on the new comic book The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which reimagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft. Tonally in the vein of Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist, this adaptation finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature — half-witch, half-mortal — while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit.

I watched Bright the other day. I didn't think it was that bad. I enjoyed it. I keep seeing these critics visciously bashing it endlessly. I didn't think it was that bad at all. My girl didn't want to watch it because she thought the trailers looked stupid, but I got her to watch it after I told her I thought it was pretty good. So she watched it with me last night and ended up enjoying it as well. Seeing these critics going after it really makes me think there's something else going on. I don't think they want Bright nor Netflix to succeed. Netflix is changing the movie landscape by bringing a "blockbuster" type film to home viewers instead of the normal theater route. I see plenty of formulaic films get praised by these critics, yet they rip apart Bright. People have a choice to stay home on Friday and watch a new movie or go to the theaters and this is what the industry does not want. They were also trying to trash Okja as well. They don't want Netflix to be a contender. Shame because I think Bright was pretty good and would like to see sequels.
I started Black Mirror the other night. This show is a complete mindfuck. I love it.
I just watched the first two episodes of the new season. They’ve been as good as you’ve come to expect from Brooker.
We binged Ultimate Beastmaster season 2 last night.
I know it's goofy, but I think it's sublime. I love the international aspect of it.
Wow, heard about it but just announced...
Letterman's new interview show on Netflix premieres in exactly one week, and the first guest is Obama!
Chris DiStefano absolutely sucks (hitting on every woman, casual racism, unfunny, etc). Tiki Barber is just stereotypical dim jock guy. I missed Terry Crews from season one.
finally caught up a little watched bright i kind of like it the social commentary a little heavy handed past style of will smith which was nice black mirror, the trapped in vr/game theme is getting old i like it the first time when it was called tron. cold stuck in planes cold weather good Netflix times
