Just saw Bird Box. I thought it was good. Not great, but good.
Oasis doc is grand, if you're into such things.
After watching the trailer for Us, I was inclined to see what else Jordan Peele is up to. Netflix is producing Wendell and Wild, a stop-motion feature directed by Henry Selick (Nightmare Before Christmas, Coraline, James and the Giant Peach), and will feature Peele and Key as two demon brothers who face off against a nun and a pair of goth teens.
Also, Netflix has another stop-motion feature in the works. Bubbles, based upon Michael Jackson's pet chimpanzee. Co-directed by Taika Waititi and Mark Gustafson (animation director of Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr. Fox).

Murder Mountain is pretty engaging.
I finally got around to catching up on the Netflix anime i had missed over my time off, Finishing One Punch Man (awesome) just started Little Witch Academia (very fun) and watching Devilman Crybaby...
I was not prepared for Devilman Crybaby...not AT ALL. Episode 9 DESTROYED me!
I haven't finished the Monty Python treasure trove & Netflix drops a bunch of Bill Hicks & Sam Kinison stuff! Bill Hicks is 1 of my favorite comedians ever. To top it off, they put "Richard Pryor in Concert" on. I saw Richard on that tour & he was on top of his game. Before he got burnt up. Kind of ruined me for comedy shows forever.
Good GOD, this Abducted in Plain Sight is one of the most bat shit crazy stories I've ever heard.
Watching Fyre documentary and I hear "On We March" from The Social Network score as well as some other TRAR pieces from Gone Girl, The Vietnam War, Ghosts, and even one of the unreleased Hesitation Marks tracks.

I was excited for this until they mentioned it will expand on the cinematic universe. Please god, stay away from those shitty Matrix wannabe movies and stick with the video games storyline. Someone get me in the writers room. I've been a fan of these games since I bought RE1 on PS1 when it first came out. Get TRAR to score it. :P

Polar, starring Mads Mikkelsen.
It's an adaptation of the Darkhorse webcomic Polar: Came From the Cold, by Victor Santos.
Directed by Jonas Åkerlund, score by Deadmau5.
Pretty entertaining.
I need to watch Polar because of my devotion to Mads Mikkelsen.
Three Identical Strangers is more fucked up imo, but in an entirely different way. Adbuction is fucked up b/c of the extreme naivete of that family, and one person who preyed on that. What happened to the boys of Three Identical Strangers (and many others apparently) was a cold, calculated conspiracy that went on for decades. Both are not to be believed, except that is all actually happened. Crazy.
Three Identical Strangers? Is that one on netflix?
Also, I'm watching this "my tattoo addiction" show, and JESUS it's ridiculous.
The one dude with new tattoos all over his face, complaining that he can't find a job, the kid with "SLIM SHADY" on his arms who's gonna be a famous rapper and thinks that makes him "different from everyone else, the drunk guys getting each other's names tattooed on their asses, the dude with rapey bullshit all over him
JESUS.
I guess I have a couple of sort of off the wall piercings, but this shit is making me GLAD I don't have any tattoos. Or, at least, I'm glad I didn't get a bunch of random or offensive shit tattooed on me.
Edit: also, I may sound like an old man, but I'm almost 39, and in my day, tattoo artists in dallas wouldn't put big tattoos on people's faces in general- especially people who didn't HAVE any tattoos yet. And they DAMN sure wouldn't tattoo people who were obviously fucked up.
