Fascinating! Thank you for the insight.

The band’s name appears to be written incorrectly on nin.wiki, I think -
    https://www.nin.wiki/Trent_Reznor under “1991”.
I think it should be stylised as “Crunch-Ø-Matic”, rather than “Crunch-O-Matic”? -

The Zear Zero TV Series, the Zach de la Rocha solo album, the third 12 Rounds album that Trent produced, the scrapped conclusion to the trilogy that they worked on between Add Violence and Bad Witch, Tapeworm, the various music videos (original versions of March of the Pigs and Hurt, the funeral version of The Day the World Went Away, Every Day is Exactly the Same, Everything), etc.
Ok, I'm starting to work on the page of unreleased stuff and I have a question. Do we have any evidence that anything for the original third installment of the trilogy was actually recorded, or was it literally just ideas in Trent's head before he went in a different direction? I've been trying to research this, but there isn't much to go on.

Also, I moved the info about the scrapped Tension tour and Hate tour films to their respective tour pages.

Wasn’t there going to be a contest for fans to make a video for ‘Capital G’? And the cancelled ‘God Given’ single release, once Trent found out about the multi-part single release of ‘Survivalism’?

Regarding abandoned projects, is it common knowledge that The Melvins may have been partly responsible for the Self Destruct tour DVD/VHS getting canned? This is news to me -

Relevant section begins at around 4:12.

Looking up some reviews from the time (including here and here), it seems most of the basic facts are correct. The Melvins were booed and pelted with particle board. Trent came out before the Jim Rose Circus and told the crowd to stop throwing stuff. And the night was filmed for the home video release. But, in the reviews, it doesn't note that the crowd was dead for NIN. Pretty much the opposite. And Dallas was just one of 4 nights that were filmed.

So, the conclusion that the poor response to the Melvins was even partly responsible for the canning of the video is probably not really accurate.

Also, I remember reading that the audience was kept smaller for those shows on purpose for some reason, and that at least one of them was a surprise show. I'm wondering if those factors may have been part of why it seemed a little dead to The Melvins.

I think the shows themselves were normal-sized, but according to the NIN FAQ (Question G:5) at both Omaha and Dallas, there was some filming done before the shows with a limited audience.

And I think the "surprise" designation for the Omaha show comes from NIN Historian, but as we know, there are a lot of errors in the NIN Historian data. As we can see in the historical newspaper articles, that show was announced as a make-up for the postponed Feb. 2 show the same day as the cancellation, so I don't really see how that can qualify as a "surprise".

I may be looking in the wrong place, but is it mentioned anywhere that "Happiness in Slavery (Fixed/Remix)" is prominently featured in the 2003 Saw short film?

Thanks for posting this, love the SAW movies and I've never seen that before. There was also some Tool in there too. I'm guessing they landed on Charlie Clouser for the soundtrack because they were NIN fans.

It was on there, but the information wasn't quite accurate. I "fixed" it. LOL.

The last revamp of the wiki took away visibility of the categories. I know that issue is in the docket to be addressed at some point by @Malechite.

Ok, I've removed all of those with the exception of the Portrait of Decay link. We have a lots of POD links all over the wiki and I've been reluctant to remove them just in case the site gets revived. I thought I heard someone say something about that possibility.

Some of these can be converted to archive.org links, rather than removed.
    e.g. https://web.archive.org/web/20111005...Release_v4.pdf
    https://web.archive.org/web/20101101...-hate-machine/

Portrait of Decay, well, there may be some progress on bringing that back soon.

Good point. I'm not sure how necessary they really are, when we have all the important stuff pasted into the wiki anyway. I'll bring back whatever folks want me to, though.
