I'll admit I'm on the fence about these guys.
Some of their songs reach greatness.
Others stumble around in pub-grunge mediocrity.
Usually this means I don't make it through entire albums of theirs because I get bogged down in the shitty tracks and switch off.
Here are my two fave Biffy songs.

Good singles, really dull albums. I find his voice ridiculously monotonous.

Which albums have you all heard?
blackened sky is kinda late-90s emoish.
vertigo of bliss is crazy post-hardcore influenced craziness.
infinity land is crazy post-hardcore prog mentalness.
puzzle is the first album where they started writing these massive slick pop songs.
only revolutions is puzzle with a bigger budget.
opposites is that times a million, a massive double album of huge slick hits and some old fashioned weirdness.

seriously, such a good band. And outrageously great live.
if you've only heard the latter three albums, and if yr US based you probably have, you're missing the weird stuff. Crack in.
