so sorry to hear :-( @SM Rollinger
Thank you, this last year has been crap all around. I never mentioned it here, but I had a friend (one of the few I have) die of rectal cancer earlier this year too, first time I have had to be a pall bearer, and hopefully the last. Between all this, the concert cancellations, our society tearing itself apart, ect, I just don't know anymore. Hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel.
I know, it's been really tough!
I had to say goodbye to my best friend of 17.5 years last November: my Jack Russell, “Icky.”
A few weeks ago, my wife and I added a new member to the family. Meet MacReady! We mostly call her “Mac.”
@caca holy moly 17.5 is a full life indeed!
Thanks for the kind words guys, it means a lot.
Beautiful husky @caca
Sorry to those of you who had to say goodbye to your little one recently. I went through the same thing with my pup Ziggy two years ago after he was with me from age 24 to 37.
In brighter news, we just celebrated one year with Po, who we adopted from a friend. Here he is being concerned I’m going to leave the house without him.
first time driving her somwhere... after 5 years!
What a sweet face!
This is Miles and Gizmo (left to right). Miles just had to be put to sleep after a long fight with cancer. He was a sweetheart.
I love all dogs. Miles looks like the kind of dog I would have loved to love on and pet and rub belly for days. The fluff was amazing. And Gizmo looks like a smaller version of Liam, my JRT I lost in 2005. All dogs are precious.
My current goal is in life is to talk my boss into 3 day workweek, so I only have to board 2-3 days, and to get a place with a big backyard.
So sorry to hear about Miles
Aw, so long, Miles. Hope you’re running and playing with Charlie.
Aw hell @Jinsai . I'm so, so sorry.
Those were handsome good boys you had there, @Jinsai . My condolences.
@imail724 Those are two cuties!
@imail724 Their little faces in the second pic... I cannot
sometimes they decide they like each other.
Say hello to my new darlings...

Corgi! My favorite breed. I had a black & tan pembroke welsh corgi as a child.
It's National Tortoiseshell Cat apparently! My wife and I so luck to have Ramen and Tofu in our lives. We adopted these two as bonded sisters in the summer of 2022, and being that her and I work remote ... every day is spent with these two goof balls. We can't imagine our lives without them.
