Unless it's mastered crazy loud up against the 0dB ceiling – MP3 encoders have a bad habit of doing their spectral removal algorithm without running through a limiter, so you get resulting MP3s that clip where the source does not (if the source has no headroom above where the mastering limiter bricks... there's usually 0.3dB in there so crappier D/A converters don't clip).
Haven't heard the tracks yet so I have no idea if they're mastered at all, let alone that loudly.
