Thanks for the comprehensive response! I can certainty see promotional cycle issues complicating a release, but I still find myself wanting to believe there was some additional factor that pushed the record into the permanently cancelled category vs. just delayed (which may just be the typical and unsatisfying "record company economics/politics" catch-all).
