aaaand he didnt win
Swing and a miss.
Such horse shit.
I only watched GG and Interstellar so my opinion could be VERY biased, but I thought one of the two would win the Golden Globe.

Atticus is there
Mariqueen posted a Phhhoto of Liberty Ross all dolled up, so I assume she attended with Atticus.
I wanted our boys to win, obviously, but it's also kind of fun that they've reached that stage of film scoring where it's a given that they'll be nominated even if the wins are rare. It took a few other composers years to reach that stage. Hooray for TR/AR making the in crowd so quickly. They deserve it.
On the actual music: I haven't found myself wanting to listen to Gone Girl as a standalone score very often, definitely not as often as the last two, BUT I just watched the movie again and it's SO GOOD in there. It might be my favorite of the three scores as far as how well it works with the film, which says a lot considering how good Social Network was.
Liberty is dating Johnny Iovine, so it's more likely she went with him and Atticus brought Claud - but I've not seen much more pics so who knows.
edit lol nvm, the photographers just refuse to take a photo of all 4: http://www.gettyimages.co.uk/detail/...hoto/461359306 http://www.gettyimages.co.uk/detail/...hoto/461363452

Such a nice picture of Trent with Hans Zimmer and Antonio Sanchez - tweeted by Antonio Sanchez. Nice that there seems to be a bit more of a spirit of camaraderie in films compared to the music industry (sorry about the image size)

Honestly, it's just a few days since I saw Theory of Everything, and I don't remember anything about the score, at all. I was surprised it was even nominated.
It wasn't the only bizarre win of the night, though.
Actual red carpet interview with Trent and Atticus

Actually I've SEEN Gladiator, just didn't know he did the music! I've also seen Thelma & Louise and I've seen the first two Pirates of the Caribbean films, utter shit though they were. I just found out some weird facts though - he played on the Buggles' Video Killed the Radio Star and the theme to Going for Gold, which was an unbelievably shit daytime quiz show in the UK - I'd say that counts as embarrassing early work!
Maybe I must of missed it but the interviewer didn't introduce T-Rez and Atticus. Also, I loved the part when the interviewer said that many were most excited to see Trent.
While Trent and Atticus lost, I hope that they put it into perspective: they were fucking nominated. That's an accomplishment in itself. I'm really happy to see him and Atticus branching out into scoring and I am even happier that the Hollywood community has embraced them with open arms.
This would be a perfect timing for billy's opinion
