Old, old Trent interview that the zine site reposted, I've not seen it before so I imagine others haven't either. He talks mostly about Broken and PHM. key quote: "I like my version of “Suck” a lot better than the Pigface one"
Yes, it's on dime.
Oh so this is still on apparently...

Imagine trying to co-author a book with Courtney Love?

Am I crazy or is Real Life Trent looking a little Meathead Cartoon Trent?
From a new Amanda Palmer AMA;
"Did you spend much time talking with Trent R when touring with him in 2005?"
"very, very little. a few conversations. trent was very hide-y on that tour. he almost never came out of his dressing room. it was his first tour back, and first tour sober. i think he was just trying desperately to focus on getting it right. but he was really nice to us. i felt so honored that he'd invited us."

Not gonna happen, but it's nice to think about:

Duncan Jones (director of Moon, David Bowie's son) tweeted about John Carmack, and someone responded with this picture of Trent and John from 2000:

To further fuel the Courtney Love is increasingly pathetic train....

Via Courtney Love's verified youtube account... a comment of her's on NineInchNailsVEVO's posting of the starfuckers video:
"heres the bad news yes im in this song, and not "closer" but trent got so burned this was a "joke song" in house only and he had to suffer it being a "hit: so the jokes on him, anyway i have more nice songs about me than mean ones, but really? you cant just have a small affair and let it go? i mean who cares?"

^ "On the coattails of a dead man she'll ride she'll ride..." - Les Claypool
I can't stand C.Love.
Speaking of Les Claypool, he spoke to Billboard about performing at Woodstock '94.

"There were interesting things backstage. I remember Nine Inch Nails had this big black bus, I remember calling it the "Semen Demon," it was this ominous-looking thing. They were cruising around backstage, and somehow the driver ran into a power line. They had to get out of the bus before they got electrocuted. And then it became the Electric Semen Demon, because it was wrapped in thousands of volts of electricity."
A great piece about Trent and Atticus working on Gone Girl: http://online.wsj.com/articles/david...ack-1409845014
Stopped by TCBY to get some frozen yogurt and as soon as I walk in,"Everything" starts playing.
Seems that Atticus is VAPING a lot, these days; maybe it's viral marketing.
Pitchfork are (surprise) also recycling the same interview in their piece here.

I feel like the weird arrangements and presentations of the Year Zero and Ghosts stuff on various live runs have been kind of a preview of what Reznor's continually hinted about following up the rock band structure of NIN with for the last several years.
Regardless, I can't wait to see it!
(Not that I don't want as much ROCK with my NIN as possible, of course.)
somebody else might have caught this already but Complication is played in its entirety on the richard dawkins movie "The Unbelievers."
It's pretty radically atheist, of course...i wonder if there is a connection between trez and dawkins?
What he said in 2013 was he would "re-think the idea of what Nine Inch Nails could be" so they could play a bunch of shows. Just over eighteen months later, we've seen three lineup changes, so it's pretty clear he achieved that mission.
i think he pulled a david bowie with the lineup changes, bringing in pino and the pink floydish singers.
compare that to 94 nin...it's a beautiful evolution
i can't see your video link from this shitty hotel computer, but i take it that you are asserting that trent has been pulling david bowiesez all along.
I can't fucking wait to see where it goes. i always say this and it's goofy to repeat it, but one day i think it will be trent at the piano with celllos and violins and such.
I don't mean to keep one-upping you, but he's already done that too:
Found this on twitter, there is going to be a documentary about the Wax Trax label

^^^ Not sure what this guy considers a "sell out", after my royal fuck up handling my own tickets we still managed to get seats in sec 101 at ticket window during Soundgarden playing.
