I foolishly thought 2016 was done systematically taking life, hope and energy from us. Nope.

    RIP Leonard Cohen

So strange, the night Leonard Cohen died, i was having an emotional breakdown and my mother and i listened to Hallelujah, his version, to help me calm down. The next day we heard he had died.
    RIP

This is the eeriest thing that's been happening to me lately...first of all i've always been a huge fan of Leonard Cohen. My father would always listen to music in his study room, he would play it loud and everyone in the house could hear it. My father listens to all kinds of music, from tribal african music to Led Zepplin, 80's pop and everything in between. I hated most of the music my father listened to, and my mother would always complain about how loud it was, the exception being Leonard Cohen. I remember being in first grade and when kids were talking about music and bands they listened to i would bring up Leonard Cohen, no one knew who he was, and i actually liked that i was the only one among my friends that did.

So a week or so ago, for some reason i started listening to him again, and now i found out that he died, and i remembered the same thing happened with David Bowie. A month before his death, while i was working i would only and mostly listen to his songs, and then he died. Same thing happened with Prince. And Michael Jackson

So lately i've been revisiting alot of the old movies Clint Eastwood did, and soon will catch up to a few he directed that i never had a chance to see, and i can't help but wonder...

@Sallos things like this make me wonder if we are all somehow interconnected, or perhaps time doesn't work quite the way it appears to...

That's what happened with me and Peter Steele, remember? I listened to Anesthesia right before I went to sleep, and turned it right up at the end to hear him whisper "I don't feel anything," then the next morning I woke up to him dead.

Something similar happened to me with Bowie: I was listening to Blackstar, the night before, trying to write something about Outside for a project I was working on. In the morning I woke up and he was dead.

It happened with me and Peter Christopherson. Man, did 2010 suck.

I was going to make a project about Coil and wanted to get in touch with him. I was almost ready when... he was gone.

Really, 2016? Killing our favorite TV mom on Thanksgiving night?

RIP Florence. You'll be sorely missed.

I can't stand that DWTS show, but happened to catch Mrs. Brady on it. Very much alive one day, dead the next. Let's all enjoy it while we can.

I saw Robert Redford a couple of years ago in an airport and then the other day getting the medal of freedom. He was aging way faster than Florence Henderson. :O

Or if you were like me and were 8 years old in 1969 when The Brady Bunch first went on the air, this just makes you feel like life is SPEEDING by ... Mrs. Brady was 6 yrs older than my Mom. I'm the same age as Cindy Brady. Ugh.

    Life is so fucking short.
