I'm reading Spidey tonight, and lots of it.

I hope Mr Lee got his cameo in the next Avengers film. Given the current story line, oddly appropriate.
Apparently it has been filmed.

Controversial parts of his legacy re: how much credit Kirby & Ditko deserved aside (this has been discussed ad nauseam for decades, no need to rehash here), Stan the Man is a mythic cultural figure, and one of the most important people of all time. His vision knew no bounds, and the dozens and dozens characters that are loved the world over are because of him. The comic book industry also lost of it's most tireless ambassadors. Stan has fought valiantly for decades to give comics their proper place in culture. His loss will hurt an already dying industry even more.
Excelsior.
RIP! Seriously sad news...but to live to 95 and be as active as he was is very impressive.
I personally hope he at least filmed his cameo for the next Spiderman, that would be a great send off for him!
Douglas Rain, the voice of HAL-9000 in 2001: A Space Odyssey has died at the age of 90.
Stan Lee's daughter already milking her father's death...

There was an article about her and she kinda seems like an asshole and being abusive to her father...

I'm gonna say Dead Souls on this one or possibly Random General Headlines. Stan's fortune and his daughter don't involve the MCU - https://www.echoingthesound.org/comm...952-Dead-Souls
apparently George Bush Sr just passed away.

Pete Shelley, lead singer of Buzzcocks, died today at 63 from a supposed heart attack.
Whoa wtf?
That's a huge blow. Such an important band, and it's been great having them around touring alot over the last few years. So young! I was lucky enough to see them about 4 years ago finally.
Been a Buzzcocks fan since the stone age. Glad to have seen them many times, especially several years ago. RIP, Pete. :-(

Back in the day, my best friend and I had this cassette in the car and we'd play it on repeat for months. Here's to playing it on repeat again for a while.

Best friend just pointed me to this really good article in the Guardian about Pete Shelley.

Damn, RIP Penny Marshall.
I still say ‘A League of Their Own’ is one of the best movies ever.
