I was instantly in love with Returnal at first, and then just completely lost interest.
I've been meaning to pick it back up, but I have so many other games on my backlog.
I thought the trailer for Returnal looked awesome and figured I'd likely buy it eventually, but after reading some of these comments, I feel like maybe renting it from RedBox for a weekend to try it out first is a better idea.
I got to Biome 5 and then took a longgggg break from it. The payoff after beating a boss feels so good, and it just handles like butter for me. I'll be coming back once I'm done with Guardians of the Galaxy and Prey.
I finally have a PS5! Ready for Elden Ring!
Me too! Last winter, six of my friends and I started playing Dark Souls III together and we got super into it. It was seriously the best game to get into during the winter months of the pandemic. Some combination of us played pretty much every night for like 2 and a half months straight. We're all super pumped to play Elden Ring, only problem is that only 3 of us have a PS5 so far.
(tweet about upcoming PS subscription service)
I'm pretty sure this is the future of consoles.
I've also got a bad feeling that Nintendo, the "happy fun company" that's quietly horrifically ruthless and cutthroat, will be late in adopting it, and will only do so begrudgingly.

Considering getting ghost of Tsushima directors cut for ps5. Can anyone tell me if this is a game worth getting?

I actually got it later that day that I posted this haha. I like it a lot! Still getting into the story and familiarizing myself with the combat controls - I flip flop between thinking it’s a beautiful game but also feeling like some of the graphics look a tiny bit dated in it. Overall, I like it and I only paid 35$ for the directors cut

I've had a couple people tell me Ghost of Tsushima might be the best game they've ever played. So far I like it but I'm not too deep in. It's definitely... cinematic. The combat so far is basic but pretty great and satisfying.
Nintendo’s back library sub thing is on every design level way better than Sony’s. Sony has been screwing EVERYTHING up when it comes to having an available backlog. Sure the whole collection of PS4 games for ps5 players would have been great, if you dorks made it possible for casual gamers to buy one. I bought a ps5 from a scalper… but I tried for MONTHS to just get it the normal way. After the money I spent, whoopty do to your free offer of an old game library I’ve already mostly played
Sony just nonchalantly buys Bungie, and I'm all here for it. Deal apparently was in the works for months, but this can only boost the technical side of things after Bungie parting ways with Activision. Very excited to see that they come up with.
Sony says to look out for more acquisitions in the near future.

^^^ Love it .
It's only the most expensive tier that has any of the back catalogue stuff right? (and by back catalogue i don't mean PS4)
Ugh..... fucking Sony. Here's a thought, ditch the tier in the middle and lower the price of Premium to match it.
You either pay for just the multiplayer access and a couple monthly games with cloud saves OR you pay $40 more per year for everything else and get the back catalogue.

There is an exploit where you can stack a PS Now subscription (All the way up to 2031) that will carry over to the new premium and will save you a lot of money before the new PS+ is implemented.
As a lover of Deathloop, I immediately preordered this.

Sony cleaning up old security protocols.
My PS3 had a firmware update and I thought I was dreaming. This is for the Vita as well lol...
