As long as I get to hear/see "Wish" in Atlanta I'll be a happy girl.
I would gladly pay full admission price if the set was JUST the Perfect drug and that was it.
I wouldn't feel cheated at all. Take a flight somewhere, get a hotel for a couple nights, suffer through a couple opening bands and then... you hear those mandolins open the show, and then 5 and a half mins later, he thanks the audience and the lights come on. I wouldn't be mad.
I *hope* “Sex Dwarf” makes it into the set list this tour...

3 Nights:
Night One: Industrial noise terror set-list (heaviest/most electronic songs from Broken/TDS/Year Zero/and the Trilogy)
Night Two: Stripped down, instrumental focused set-list (songs from The Fragile, Still, some Ghosts and soundtrack work, With Teeth, and The Slip)
Night Three: Upbeat/classic finale set-list (songs from PHM, Hesitation Marks, some covers, and the big staple NIN songs)
After being blown away by the two Atlanta shows, I'm making a new dream set-list using only songs I haven't heard live.

Zero-Sum
Not adding anything that hasn't yet been played this tour, this is my desire for two nights in Vegas. That said if I can get Last, Happiness in the SLavery, The Perfect Drug, and And All That Could Have Been nothing else will matter. I do hope for a healthy sprinkling of the new tracks, specifically This Isn't the Place, Burning Bright, Shit Mirror and The Background World. I understand HLAH and Hurt will likely need to repeat and that's cool but if there one other song that is played both nights fuck I hope it's Terrible Lie. Never get tired of rocking out to that god damned song.

If I got to add any songs that haven't been played yet, obviously We're In This Together, The Mark Has Been Made, Ruiner, Leaving Hope, Down in it, In Two, The Line Begins to Blur, Ripe with Decay, and fuck yeah to Tetsuo. I'd be down with any of their score work being thrown in as well in any capacity.

Not my absolute "dream setlist" per say, but I've tried to come up with the best possible setlist I could think of, that would be realistic with the Cold/Black/Infinite master setlist, that respects Trent's attention to flow and climaxes and that. And here's what I've got.
Mr Self Destruct
The Perfect Drug
Terrible Lie
Last
The Frail
Me I’m Not
The Becoming
I Do Not Want This
The Big Come Down
God Break Down The Down
Over And Out
Help Me I'm In Hell
Happiness In Slavery
Copy Of A
Less Than
Starfuckers
Wish
Somewhat Damaged
The Day The World Went Away
And All That Could Have Been
Hurt
Ending with Wish instead of Head Like A Hole : they've done it in Vegas back in June.
Playing both TPD and HIS : they've done it in Vegas this time around.
Opening the encore with SD : they did it at Riot Fest last year.
To think that this is a realistic setlist is pretty damn crazy.
Help Me I'm In Hell
Head Like A Hole
Mr Self Destruct
Wish
Heresy
Last
March Of The Pigs
The Beginning Of The End
All That I Wanted (Belfegore)
Closer
Love Is Not Enough
We're In This Together
Discipline
Sanctified
Sin
The Perfect Drug
Burn
Shit Mirror
The Wretched
Dead Souls
*encore*
Complications
Supernaut (Black Sabbath)
Starfuckers Inc
The Hand That Feeds
The Day The World Went Away
I Can't Give It All Away (Bowie)
Hurt
If either version of Mantra from Sound City: Real to Reel ever makes it to a Nine Inch Nails setlist, I thought it might go well next to either Ringfinger, All That Love In The World, Ghosts III - 20 or Over And Out.
Mantra
Ringfinger
All That Love In The World
Mantra
Ghosts III - 20
Mantra
Mantra
Over And Out
All of you who keep ending your lists with Hurt need to be perma-banned from ETS!
haven't done one of these in a minute, but based on what I haven't seen them do, I think I'd be perfectly happy with something like this:
Somewhat Damaged
Mr Self Destruct
Last
MOTP
Piggy (NCSMN)
Sin
This Isn't the Place
Closer
Ruiner
Me I'm Not
Subterraneans
The Fragile
Meet Your Master
La Mer
The Way Out is Through
Wish
The Big Come Down
Down In It
Starfuckers Inc
Head Like a Hole
Help me I am in Hell
Happiness in Slavery
And All That Could Have Been
Hurt
In This Twilight
All three setlists from Chicago 2018
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Everyday is exactly the same (Trent and Robin Finck and violins) (With Teeth song middle part as intro)
Something I Can Never Have (Trent and D.Lohner) (Piano and Guitar)
Hurt (Trent Reznor) (Piano)
Right Where it belongs (Trent Reznor) (Piano)
Leaving Hope (Trent and Atticus)
Unlikely to happen, COVID-19 outbreak or no COVID-19 outbreak, but:
NIN at Wacken. Like with the 2009 Sonisphere set, there is a deliberately large number of quieter songs to see if the more toxic metalheads attending would freak out (but still enough heavier numbers at the beginning to pull a bait-and-switch). Aiming for about an hour.
1. The Downward Spiral (first half is pre-recorded, serving as the intro)
2. No, You Don't
3. Love Is Not Enough
4. Gave Up
5. The Great Below
6. 1 Ghosts I
7. The Lovers
8. Right Where It Belongs
9. The Line Begins To Blur
10. Complication
11. Last
12. The Frail
13. The Great Destroyer
14. Another Version Of The Truth
15. In This Twilight (with Zero-Sum outro)
