A bad Audioslave bside at that.
Cornell said that new album doesn't sound like that and they only did it for the movie soundtrack. So there's still hope I guess.

Holy shit, this clip just traumatized me. I dare you, watch all of it:
Vedder, get out.
Oh good god yes. Even more than annoying, boring Adele. I hate Karmin particularly for that stupid song in which she shows us how cutely she can say 'cheerio.' I wasn't sure it was the same artist as the video you posted, so I had to look it up. But I knew in my heart that they had the same level of "i'm just another mediocre pop artist compensating for my lack of talent with an edgy look" brand of suck.
Yeah, that's her. She was the one acting like a great big narcissistic overgrown second year drama major on SNL a couple months back. God save us from goofy, upper-middle-class kids who think it's hilarious to rap.
You'll love this!
Had the displeasure of seeing these clowns recently:

I posted about this fucktard a bit ago but I heard him on the radio again:
Flo Rida
I notice any certain fame or success he has can be attributed to his guest artist or his sampling. I mean every time I hear a clip of his songs it's the featured guests part that's more popular than his. I also find him a hack of this new hip hop to rap to electronic synth pop approach every douche is doing these days.

So this is something that came to mind a few weeks ago, and I’ve been trying to come to terms with it. With Rihanna appearing on the last Coldplay album, that means she’s been on an album produced by Brian Eno. Let that sink in for a second.
Rihanna is shit. Coldplay is shit. Brian Eno needs to pay the rent too.
Fun. We are Young. "DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!!!!!!!!" is all I hear after about 5 seconds of that song.
I hate that song too. BTW, is it me or does that new Linkin Park song sound somewhat similar to that Kelly Clarkson song "Stronger"?
This more a "shitty music moment" rater than "shitty music" (still the song is nothing special)
How big is their fuckin ego?
Dubstep Cypress Hill http://music.aol.com/new-releases-full-cds#/9
Well yes, this sucks, but I have to oppose the dubstep (or brostep I guess) backlash. I'm just glad I'm seeing the mainstream buying into electronic music in a real way. It'll change again soon into something more interesting. I think I'm just glad that I'm seeing kids and teens buying electronic music.
This must be a US thing. Ever since I've been a conscious human being, Europeans, teens and adults, have been buying shitty electronic music in droves.
Every summer there's a bevvy of songs like this
and speaking of shitty electronic music Europeans were lining up to buy:
It is to some degree an American thing, especially on the mainstream, but I've been waiting for American kids to actually embrace electronic music on a mainstream level. That really hasn't happened until this whole dubstep thing. Seriously, up until recently, most Americans have seemed to equate "electronic music" with "is that like Moby?" I don't like this generic dubstep, but at least kids in America are finally waking up to dance music.
Even if it sucks.
And yes, I agree, things like this Cypress collaboration with Rusko is lame as fuck, and it sucks almost as much as Korn's attempt at it. I wish the rock and hip hop groups would fuck off with the obvious pandering and just let people get into it, as much as I may personally dislike it.
I will not have the Vengaboys brought into disrepute. I WILL NOT.
Don't Worry, Be Happy song. Ugh.
Agreed, and very nice examples. I think I said it before (on this forum or one the old one, I don't know), but the current music trends coming over from America look very european to me. Having a former R'n'b star like Usher appear in simple electronic dance songs is weird to my ears. Usher (or someone like Flo Rida) now sounds like Mr. President or Captain Jack (sort-of german dance acts of the 90's)
Bad porn or "music", you decide.
Where I work, we seem to have the same 15-20 songs on loop daily.
I could go without ever hearing:
Mark Cohn - Walking in Memphis (I've always hated this song...)
Colbie Caillat - I Never Told You
Bruno Mars - Just the Way You Are
Hanson - MMMBop (They STILL play this tripe?!)
Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You
They say as long as the songs don't "offend the seniors" it has to be played...what about offending US?
Dancing in the Moonlight: what a shitty, pandering song.
