I have only seen video footage but did Patton seem off here? Not moving around too much, off key singing.

Kind of. Patton's pushing 50. The glasses do seem to age him a lot. Seemed better by the time they got to Malpractice

This is what I thought initially but he is still doing Dead Cross alright. I did notice that whatever vocal effect rack he has going now has been spotty. Maybe he had the flu.... hard to imagine this guy being less tha perfect vocally on a bad day.

One year ago today. Man that was an awesome show. Psyched to find this multicam edit of it recently, which I've been saving for today to watch and relive the show. I miss these guys.

Finally got my prints from the final show framed and hung up. They look awesome! Swipe through the pics to see both prints. I can even see myself in the one on the left!

I think Greg might be a guest at Jerry Cantrell's shows in LA tonight and tomorrow night. Both the DEP and The Black Queen instagram accounts teased a surprise for the shows, encouraging people to go.

Long shot: does anyone know if 'Widower' was a tour staple during their spring run in 2010? I went to the Houston show and I could have sworn that they played Widower that night but it doesn't show on setlist.fm (https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-d...-5bd4eff0.html)

According to that tour statistics: https://www.setlist.fm/stats/the-dil...?tour=7bd786a8 they did play Widower 4 times that tour.

    Widower is great

Iirc they started doing that one in the Fall run that year. I saw it in 2011 and it ripped live. Someone jumped on stage and Ben ripped the dudes shirt off. Tuttle changed the lyrics to "You were a dick in the crowdddd" and Greg could not contain the laughter. Shit was hilarious.

He'd never do it in a million years but an acoustic Greg Puciato album would be sick.....He sounded great on those AIC songs

He's talked about doing solo stuff over the last couple years. I wouldn't rule that ou.

If you dig Dimitri era DEP, you'll dig it...I prefer the Greg stuff but this song is pretty sick

It’s the best thing Ben has done in years. I would love to see this lead to something bigger.

Greg has a new solo album coming out! New song "Fire For Water" premiered on Radio 1's Rock Show about half an hour ago, and will be officially released tomorrow. It's quite good. Sounds a lot like Dillinger.

You can hear it on the replay of the show at 47:17:

EDIT: Song is on Apple Music now!

Makes me think there really was internal problems in DEP....They end DEP and Greg puts out a solo album that sounds like......DEP?

With that said, I am glad to see Greg going in hard as fuck again

Ben released that song with Dimitri not that long ago that was very DEP-ish. No way there wasn't some friction that ended it.

A lot of the lyrical themes on One of Us is the Killer have to do with ben and greg's relationship.

Though, they said they were in a good place going into the last album cycle for Dillinger, so I doubt that internal problems have to do with why they broke up. I think Ben was just getting tired of the relentless touring schedule that Dillinger always did. Plus I wouldn't want to be doing what they were doing on stage at that Ben's age.

I remember reading some interview with Ben around 2014 or so where he threw some diss shots at Greg. Mostly about how they are going in different directions and how he is trying to have a family life in the suburbs in NJ and how "our singer is dating porn stars in LA".....The band split 2 years ago. I wonder if they have even texted 1 time since then...

Pretty sure Ben said they talked in an interview or something since then. Can't remember where I read that though.

Ben has been doing the same with Suicidal Tendencies hahaha. Sometimes Greg allowed his crazy side on The Black Queen concerts too.
