Not that I don't love NiN but may have joined the forums just for this thread...
I've been poring through all of the bits of information you've all shared to try to help myself and others try to figure out any number of these mysteries. Still no closer, mind you, but still trying.
Got my CD in the mail today. Package says it was mailed first class on the 12th. Still waiting on the black vinyl, tho.
Got my cd today. While I like the minimalist packaging I was really hoping to find out what guests played on what tracks.
My clear vinyl came yesterday & the whole package is gorgeous! Can't wait to listen!
112/250
Does anyone know where I can buy this on CD?
Amazon ships in 1-2 MONTHS!!!!
The session is airing today according to Daniel P Carter's twitter...t hough he posted 10 minutes before the show started.
Hour 1:Secret Scream and Ice to Never
Hour 2: The End Where We Start and Distanced
Here's the audio. That link goes dead in seven days. I dumped the stream with VLC to mpeg-ts, used ffmpeg to convert to m4a (without re-encoding the audio itself) and used ffmpeg to chop up the audio into songs.

Thanks for sharing.
The Black Queen sent out an email with the BBC Session.
Holy shit this BBC Session is amazing. I didn't think "Secret Scream" could be better but it is! I got goosebumps during "The End Where We Start". I really hope we get an East Coast show at some point.
@RJK amen. Would love to see a full tour, I'm sure they'll do one. After seeing Dillinger it'd be something else to see Greg singing like he does with TBQ live. That alone would be worth the price of admission to me. Ice to Never would make me melt.
They updated Facebook with a picture that says New York??/??/2016
I can confirm that TBQ live is pretty fucking special. Made up to have seen them on their London date.
My clear vinyl arrived. Number 21.
Yay! I got my CD in the mail. I'm also happy that they're playing more dates. They were good live and it was interesting to see how they'd chosen to translate the material to a live setting. I was also happy to share the stream; I've never believed in hoarding live recordings. I'm still kicking myself for not getting the taper's email from the show at the Complex.
the BBC sessions sound pretty good, but i have a few complaints:
1. greg sounds a tiny bit sharp throughout (but not constantly)
2. why does greg sing all the vox on distanced? it felt weird (not bad, but weird) not to hear josh
3. are those weird clicky/distorted noises at the beginnings of each song greg messing with his mic/cord? really wish they had edited those out : /
We're all in agreement that Mr. Eustis is the first voice that sings 'For we never change...' on "Maybe We Should", right?
The noise during the first 0.5s of Secret Scream is the BBC Maida Vale bumper sound. The noise during the first 0.5s of The End Where We Start is the BBC Maida Vale bumper again. I know the locations of the bumpers because they were too close for me to cut with a command line tool. I have no idea what the clicks are.
Has anybody elses Amazon vinyl order not shipped yet?
oh man, i finally spun my (clear) vinyl today (which sounded PHENOMENAL, by the way; so glad they went for 45rpm) and you're right...it's totally greg singing all the lead vox on "distanced"
it really threw me because i could have sworn it was josh...
i'm convinced that THAT is definitely josh. there's no way he doesn't do any backup on the album, because as talented as greg is, he can't sound like a completely different person when backing himself up... right...?
They have arrived!
I will see what numbers they are when I get home and open. Maybe we will have a clue for the damn new mystery.
