I’ve just gotten into Dillinger Escape Plan. My god they are awesome. I hope they decide to get back together.

Damn i stay away for a few days and the well goes dry despite some major releases. Y'all be slippin:
I too was aware of both videos. They're both ok. The Rundle/Thou vinyl looks interesting enough.
Behemoth announce a live interactive 4k 'In Absentia Dei' livestream concert.
I love Carcass. They're my fave death metal band, if you consider them as such. I know the earlier albums are grindcore but still rank with me for the death metal aspect.
Earache recently re-released a FDR repress of Necroticism as well as new release of a CD for it. I grabbed the red vinyl pressing, the CD and a colorful t-shirt. The repress was really cheap only being about $18.99.
Necroticism is my fave Cracass album for the record. The shirt was too cool to pass up.
I spoke too soon. I ordered the white with red and black splatter 10" EP and a CD copy. Stoked!

Loving this song a lot at the moment.
This fucking sucks. Goddamn they had so much potential. 34 is too young. RIP IN POWER
That sucks, Power Trip was fucking awesome and Nightmare Logic was easily one of the best old school thrash metal records of the last 10 years. Rest in power.
Dude I’m fucking gutted by Riley’s death. Power Trip is in my opinion the best thrash band in decades. Dude had a helluva voice
and stage presence. I hope at least they can release the final album posthumously. That thing was destined to be one of the AOTY contenders.
Been pretty miserable when alone with my thoughts this week whenever thinking about Riley. Hung with him once through friends. Really only had an introduction and then conversed with the people I actually knew in the group. Great guy though and was funny in the group convo that night. Absolute shame...Power Trip were about to really blow up once life returned to normal. And we all owe hima debt of gratitude for embarrassing the Trapt guy back in March.
Only song I knew was Executioner’s Tax. Can’t say I’m a fan but it is a surprise to hear. Wonder what the rest of the band will do?
In other “news”, I heard the new Napalm Death album. It’s out there....
I loved Apex Predator and all the 7” singles they’ve released between then and now. It didn’t disappoint and I must say it’s very good. It’s a little more experimental melody wise compared to last albums.
I’m really bummed by Riley’s death. His was one of the best voices in metal. Most metal vocals are a mere prop. His took it to the next level. Another band with so much promise we’ll never hear again.
I truly thought they would be the next Metallica and crossover to mainstream audiences. Riley had a huge presence on stage that can't be filled.
A little straightforward and derivative, but the most recent Orbit Culture has really changed my opinion of these guys. This album has been on repeat for a few weeks now and I haven't gotten sick of it yet.

Yeah it really is a fucking great album. I also haven't really stopped listening to it since it came out. Each song is packed with so much shit, I'm always finding something new and interesting in them. Dudes vocals are killer too. I hope they can get the album pressed on vinyl soon.
Most Precious Blood was one of those bands that I listened to solely because they were on Trustkill and wound up enjoying. For whatever reason, I just kind of stopped at one point. This was a mistake.
The Agony Scene announces death of their bassist.
Such a bummer. Always loved these guys but their last album was an absolute monster.
Wow I really didn't know Agony Scene was still around. The Darkest Red was fucking huuuuuuuge for me in high school. Me and my buds traveled around the state and saw them play a fuck ton of times on that album cycle.
New compilation album Shut It Down to support BLM is streaming / available for purchase. Deep cuts, unreleased shit b-sides...
Tracklist is tight as fuck.
New Six Feet Under song is great. Has an old school vibe and their next album is out October 2nd. Former Cannibal Corpse guitarist Jack Owen joins Barnes for the first time for an album in 25 years (26 technically since The Bleeding came out in 1994).
Just finished the In Absentia Dei Behemoth stream, amazing show. They busted out some classics for a two hour set. Hope they release a 4k disk ( the on demand stream is 4k.)
SO happy they played Prometherion. It's one of my favorites.
What bundle did you buy?
I bought the In Absentia Dei "Event" shirt bundle. Director's cut, the shirt with the skull looming over the steeple and the laminate.
I'm surprised they didn't announce a future vinyl press, CD or mp3 download of the show immediately. I would love a 4K UHD blu-ray.
