Picked up the EP a couple days ago. Only heard it once though. Pretty optimistic to hear the rest though.
Could've sworn there was a PIG thread on here before? Or maybe I'm thinking of pre-relaunch ETS from 2011.
I love PIG. I'll check out the new EP. I'll just more about his past work when i have a bit more free time but sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
New interview, lots of new info http://regenmag.com/interviews/pig-i...the-perverted/

The EP is pretty good, definitely excited to hear the full album.
He says in that interview that they'll have a special edition vinyl on the tour with all kinds of unreleased stuff. Sounds cool. Not sure why my post double quoted but I can't get it to change.
I remember i bought sinsation because i thought the cover looked cool. I knew nothing else about it other than it was on nothing records. I was not disappointed, those songs still hold up.
During high school in the mid 90s I first heard Pig on a mix tape in a car I was in. Never remembered or found out what that song was, but the name Pig stuck in my head enough for me to order Sinsation through one of those BMG CDs through the mail deals. From there the race was on to track down everything... all the foreign imports and whatnot. Still love me some Pig.
I started with Sinsation. I had already learned a little of who he is by KMFDM. So, I ended up checking him out. Went in not knowing what Pig really was aside from people talking about it and me liking his kmfdm stuff. I was amazed. Immediately ordered Wrecked. The rest is history.
Sinsation was my first, followed quickly by Genuine American Monster, Wrecked, Praise The Lard, and so on and so forth. I don't think I ever snapped up a discography quite that quickly.
I got Sinsation cause it was on Nothing records, immediately loved it and got Wrecked when it came out. Took me awhile to get Genuine American Monster because PIG fell off my radar, but I love that album too. I've never heard the first 3 albums, should probably figure out how to hear those sometime.
Yeah ive loved every PIG album, hard as they were to track down in the mid to late 90's and 2000's. Every song off sinsation is perfect. And 'junky' from pigmata (i think) is one of my favorite songs of all time. I need to find my old PIG tshirt that has the logo on the front and red raw and sore on the back. God my parents hated that shirt.
I didnt make the connection with KMFDM until i saw them both live like...late 90's and they did songs together. I was never into KMFDM other than a few albums. The raymond watts songs and tim skold songs were the only ones that stuck out to me. Other than those they all sounded the same to me.

At least it wasn't a find it, fuck it, forget shirt.
Check out the haloblack version of Junky if you haven't. Some other good stuff that album (Throb), Watts does vocals on Punch the Deck.

Did anyone else here used to hang out on thesickcity.com when it was a thing? I discovered so much great music through those message boards. Hell, even the comp they put out was incredible. Pig, Pig Orch., Bryan Black, Motor, H3llb3nt, Sow etc. etc. A great chunk of my life was spent on those boards.
Been listening to a lot of Schwein lately. Can't wait for the new album. Don't think the tour is coming anywhere near me, unfortunately..
I'm liking what I'm hearing. It's SOFAD filtered though Ray's brand of sleaze.
Also: Got my VIP ticket for Toronto.

A reminder that these are things that happened:
Does anyone know which master of poke in the eye is the best one? They release it again in the later 90s but I'm not sure if the older one was actually better, and there are multiple releases for that older one. https://www.discogs.com/Pig-A-Poke-I...k/master/32036

I haven't heard the original, but I picked up the 1998 Blue Noise for a pretty penny years and years ago. It sounds very, very clean to my ears, and not overloud.

1 minute clips from the new album
Holy shit. This might be one of his best albums ever.
Viva Evil is (a new version of?) the track Evil Does IIRC. Haven't heard it recently enough to remember the differences, and we'll have to wait for the full track obviously.
Like the fresh direction for some of these tracks, curious about the full thing.
