Can we all just take a moment to be thankful that ETS is sturdy as a rock and isn't shitting the bed and dying under all this stress?

Unlike another website I'm thinking of.

Oh man, at least grab the Fragile Deconstructed package. Once it's gone, it's gone, it says. That thing will be worth a small fortune in a few years' time..

Welp, there goes a lot of money. Shipping and prices to Europe are brutal, even from the UK store.

    Don't fucking care right now.

I know. I don't care for the value. I'd care for the actual product and music.

It's just I'm not done with the xmas shopping for the girls and I still have car payments. Adult life is brutal but has to be done.

Oh yea man, by no means sell it or anything. This kind of thing is meant to be treasured.

Buy it and tell your better half its her X-mas present to you this year. Then she doesn't even have to shop for you

I sincerely hope not, but I wouldn't be too shocked. He hasn't seemed too keen on multi-channel releases of his stuff for awhile now.

ugh. Yeah, I'm fine with just the $20 vinyl I guess. Also had Broken and Deviations 1 in my order. Definitive TDS was tempting, but I already have a UK pressing of that (and an original US Fragile).

Ugh just noticed Natural Born Killers vinyl in there too. Might have to make a second order soon lol.

So wait, the first thing to my mind is, if The Fragile Deviations 1 is a limited Vinyl release of instrumental tracks... does that mean a more extensive Fragile release is forthcoming with all of the new/reworked tracks forthcoming? Like a FULL version of the Fragile with the new 9 tracks and all of the vinyl only ones inserted in their proper listed order? Are we getting an expanded version of The Fragile eventually?

    I can't believe I actually just spent 450€.

And I'm still thinking about placing a second order with Welcome Oblivion, Gone Girl and Hesitation Marks.

I'm incredibly happy and depressed at the same time.

Reportedly, he's been making a Nine Inch Nails concept album with a game company whom he has been collaborating closely with over the past 2 years. The game and album complement each other. A source tells me that the game is based on the lyrical content of the album and that the game somehow incorporates the songs into the gameplay mechanics. Each "level" is a song. Assuming the veracity of this information, the gameplay mechanic will somewhat re-write the rules of video games. The source went on to tell me to imagine the change in terms of Tetris, Pikmin, Metroid and the Zelda series. In other words, this project could potentially be a game changer.

Official details are expected to be released mid-January.

    UPDATE:

I just got off the phone with my source. This is going to blow your mind.

The levels and gameplay change according to what's happening in the song: for example the loudness, BPMs, mood, what is sung in the lyrics, instruments used, melody and so on. I was told that there are several parameters of each song that the game takes into account.

Also, the game and the album will share the same name.

I'll post more details as soon as I hear more. If not, we'll have to wait for the official details to be announced mid-January.

    UPDATE 2:

    Working title: Misophonia

    Sooooooooooo yeah, about that... ?

Thanks, yeah I finally got the site to work and ordered the fragile deconstructed vinyl and the new EP. Will be my first ever vinyl but the fragile era is easily my favorite era of Nine Inch Nails so I really just want the digital files legally. Will probably never open the vinyl and save as a collectors piece. What a great day.

Alan already finished the 5.1 mix long ago, and I think that was one of the first things that was finished for the re-release. In 2010 he said the fragile is the one album that deserves to be in surround, so let's hope he didn't change his mind by now. Maybe it will come out after all of the Deviations are shipped, and contain everything in one or two bluray discs.

What if Rob is now working full-time for The Black Queen? And/or The New Regime, perhaps.

make sure you don't keep it sealed. open it, put it in an outer sleeve (with the records OUTSIDE the jacket, don't leave them in there or you'll get ring wear) and it'll stay in near mint condition
