June 21 at 12:24 am is summer. You can open a ticket then.

And now I know someone will be sitting by their computer that night...

"Was It Worth It? (Instrumental)" is such a motherfucking beast of a song. I can't stop agonizing over what Trent's vocal melody would have been over top of it. And lyrics...I wonder what the theme of the song was, originally. It's giving me anxiety!!

Technically we've got until the 23rd, because they can ship in Spring but arrive in Summer

Just sittin' here still listening to the digital versions of this stuff.

I'm not worried, really. I mean, end of the day, it's Trent & co. He'll make sure we get our shit one way or another. Sure, he announces stuff that never happens (so does basically every artist I follow), but when shit actually gets released I think NIN's track record is historically pretty damn good for delivery.

Not saying people aren't right to wonder where the hell their stuff is, but yeah. I'll be patient as long as it takes. They're being made.

Are you saying that Trent's dream about us, sitting on a cushion, listening to old cracks and pops, when it rains, was JUST A DREAM ?.
I cannot remember the last time I listened NIN on big stuff, that wasn't 5.1 or video.... and I do still listening a lot of nin.

This was posted on a Facebook NIN group I'm in, make of it what you will. Think that's the phrase.

Given it's title and it's placement on the album, I feel like it would be about the protagonist reflecting on how they're "trying to save myself" and wondering if what they're doing will be "worth it". And immediately after comes Please, where they HAVE decided that it will be worth it, but it's not quite working (Never be enough to fill me up).

@Papagolash I doubt that heavily just because I don't see how With Teeth and Year Zero would be coming out the same day as the others considering we can't even preorder them yet.

Strange catalog release that is, no mention of NTAE, but I'll admit the Deviation Fragile could possibly be released much later than the 1st batch of Definitive Remasters. WT and YZ dates could be for preorders, maybe somebody messed up and put those two instead of NTAE and Deviations.

The ending of Not What It Seems Like (from 2:40) has some riffing that heavily reminds me of V1 Mix of I'm Afraid of Americans

Today was the first time when I intentionally suppressed any attempts of mine to sing along or even "think along" the lyrics while listening to TFD1 (it was like 20th listen overall, including the Apple Music version) and made myself focus on the actual instrument parts that are unveiled after the vocals were removed.
Just when I thought I already knew every little detail of every song after non-stop listening for 15 years... holy shit, it paid off so much and revealed so much more hidden stuff.

Same here. Even Where Is Everybody?, which always sounded so simple and repetitive to me, revealed some real deep shit to me as an instrumental. Lots of things going on down there.

YES! The istrumental version of WIE is fucking fantastic. So much is going on in that song that I never realized.

Glad that Deviations is getting the priority release for whatever reason.
