LESS THAN, in Stereogum's weekly top 5 :
http://www.stereogum.com/1952136/the...s-of-the-week/The musical thrill ride seems to be a delivery system for a call to action, with Reznor urging his listeners, “So what are you waiting for?” If he’s condemning complacency among the masses, he bolsters his case significantly by continuing to release music this contagiously replayable nearly 30 years into his career.
probably been posted somewhere before
Here's a recently uploaded video of Trent talking about a few of his favourite songs and music videos as the guest programmer of Rage, an Australian music video show, back in 2000. Pretty intriguing to hear his thoughts on the music that's influenced him.

NIN on the livestream this weekend FYF
Tweet from BBC6music about listening tomorrow to be the first to hear a brand new track - but do they mean another one or this is the place? I don't want to hear most of the EP before Friday either

this is what he should be known as now
Colbert name dropped NIN 2 nights ago (around the 3:25 minute mark):
AV got a review in, heh, the AV Club today: http://www.avclub.com/live/nine-inch...271/entry/1660
Not super complimentary, but whatever. Reviewer liked Less Than but thought it went generally downhill from there. Some people, eh?
The latest e-mail about AV's release featured this photo titled "NIN_live_abstract_21"
And Youtube:
Just noticed that they added Add Violence to the discography page on nin.com and edited NTAE's description to mention that it's the beginning of the trilogy. Also noticed a typo on With Teeth's tracklisting: "ALL THE LIVE IN THE WORLD"
I really like this review

Not sure where to post this but new Instagram pictures have showed up on Trent's and nine in nails accounts
I've been a huge fan of Anthony Bourdain for a long time and I knew that he likes a lot of the same music as me (I know he's pretty close with the QOTSA crew.) But it made me squeal a little bit when I played his latest Instagram story and it had him shooting video of the skyline of whatever city he's currently in with clips of "The Background World" and "She's Gone Away" playing.
I'm so glad he not only likes NIN, but actively, currently likes NIN.
Great review of the FYF show : http://www.forbes.com/sites/stevebal...-band-for-2017
Robb Flynn from Machine Head had some kind of birthday gig at the weekend and covered HLAH.

Metal Hammer has a 90's issue out. There is a collage of artists on the front, and Trent is one of them.
Also, they have a free CD of bands covering other bands songs from the 90s and there is a "March of the Pigs" cover on there from a band called Eighteen Visions.
