What I love about John Bonham was that he had a club foot for the kick and Ilan has that same power with his kick. I like Freese but there is something about a kick drum that you can feel in your chest.

Line Up posted
So you got all of the names of the band members, ok. Then at the bottom you've got the date of the Panorama show, check. What could the L. A...... and F. Y....F. mean??
FYF Fest is a Festival in LA...NIN are headlining.
Interesting. So FYF fest confirmed. Line up confirmed. More shows please.
Oh shit, I thought that was the date of the NY show. Damn, so NY won't be the first show anymore? I'm disappointed.
Well, happy with the lineup yet it was to be expected. I'm still sad to see Eustis not "needed" in the band anymore. Really liked what he did and his stage presence.
As long as it's Alessandro and Robin, I am fine with whomever they tour with. And of course it's Trent who I want to see.
So now here's me hoping for a really nice set or at least 2 or 3 surprises and some European dates for next year!
Am I not the only person not feeling Cortini on Bass full time?
at last. band line up is clear. happy. now it starts...
Robin thank god. Wasn't too worried about him not being there, but you never know.
I don't think Alessandro will be playing bass full time. There are a few songs where it probably makes sense (Piggy, Head Like A Hole, etc.) but I think they will mix it up quite a bit. Especially with the more electronic-heavy songs I am betting that Ilan will take on additional bass/guitar duties and Alessandro & Atticus will go for synthies.
i'm sure atticus often played bass in 12 rounds. so no worries. bass samples also can be played with a synth/keyboard...
dream line up for sure. excellent musicians

The bass thing has me worried. I wish TR would just call up JMJ to rip it up with them again. He was, by far, the best live bass player in NIN. Pino's great, but boring and over played most songs...and don't let the nostalgia-factor inflate the talents of Lohner...he wasn't that great.
And speaking of the nostalgia-factor, someone on facebook said TR should get Chris Vrenna to play drums! Hahahahaha!! Sorry, random facebook poster, but Ilan is 100% better.
About the bass thing I'll just leave this thing here
So I don't see Alessandro playing bass full time, but this time I can see Ilan playing drums all the time, both Cortini and Ross could play those piano chords in March Of The Pigs for example.

very excited to have both Cortini & Ross... the beeps and boops potential is off the charts.
I like the fact that both Cortini and Ross are part of the 2017 lineup. I agree that it will be great with the songs that are heavier on the programming side.
Hey .. maybe this is what it takes to get them to play The Perfect Drug. Maybe they'll solve that "how do we end this song" dilemma.
After watching this, consider me excited to see a full show with Atticus up there. He seems to have a solid stage presence and crazy cool skills. I'm in.
So who's going to be on bass? Atticus, I guess?
Given the gritty ink caked physical component, it would be awesome if the band played shows like this:
They'll just open a bunch of physical component packages onto themselves onstage to keep the dirt relevant
don't hate on me pls but I'd love to see Jeordie White back on bass. I know he's playing with MM this year, but a guy can dream, eh
Alessandro played bass for the HTDA shows.
