^^^ And not to burst any bubbles, but that was a rehearsal for a massive tour, where this is a warm up for (as far as we know) four 90 minute shows. While they've undoubtedly rehearsed more than 90 minutes of music in order to change things up and have backups when need be, don't expect some epically long show. That said, there might be a song or two they play tomorrow that they decided just doesn't work live or with an audience, and we end up seeing the only performance of it ever.

Either way, I'm so stoked to be seeing them at a show where I haven't massively spoiled myself by tracking the tour/setlists up until now! I think the only way this is a disappointing show is if they literally just play She's Gone Away and Less Than and then just allll the hits we've seen 100 times before. That seems pretty unlikely, though (and even then, fuck, it's the first NIN show in three years!).

Got my ticket and printed it out! I'd say to everyone call AXS. I don't think they know about the issue.

I bet they autosend them today, but if you really need them it'd be worth calling. Yikes, if its not one NIN vendor delaying its the other....

i called axs this morning and haven't received them yet, but they were aware that there were issues getting them sent out to everyone, so hopefully they'll be out soon. i was on hold for almost half an hour, and then the call itself took close to ten minutes-- just a heads up if you need to call vs waiting out the mass delivery.

also, i have an extra seated ticket (sec 106 row b). if anyone's interested, let me know.

Called and spent the last 30 minutes listening to hold music that was pleasantly like- but frustratingly not- the Who's The Boss theme. Then, when someone finally answered, I pulled up my email to find they had sent a ticket while I was on hold. Anyway, all is well on my end now!

Same here, I was on hold for 30 minutes as well. The rep tells me I should get my ticket within the next 3 hours.

The best part about it was being a rehearsal they played every single song, or close to every song, that got played that tour that night.

    Ok so I really didn't want to display my ignorance, but unless I ask I will remain ignorant;
What are you referencing ARG(?) bathrooms (?)

As part of the YZ ARG flash drives were left at venues for fans to find. One was found in a Bathroom stall during a performance in Lisbon Portugal. The description below is taken from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Year_Zero_(album)

Part of this promotional campaign involved USB drives that were left in concert venues for fans to find during Nine Inch Nails' 2007 European tour. During a concert in Lisbon, Portugal, a USB flash drive was found in a bathroom stall containing a high-quality MP3 of the track "My Violent Heart", a song from the then-unreleased album.[33] Another USB drive was found at a concert in Barcelona, Spain, containing the track "Me, I'm Not".[34] Messages found on the drives and tour clothing led to additional websites and images from the game, and the early release of several unheard songs from the album.

The alternate reality game surrounding Year Zero, part of which involved fans finding clues on concert shirts and USB drives with new music in the bathroom at concerts.

I would if I had gotten a ticket, lol. I've started a thread to collaborate on recordings of the 2017 shows here: http://www.echoingthesound.org/commu...017-Live-Shows
I encourage anyone who's going and plans to film, tape or both - to post there! I think we'll have a pretty good idea of what we have to work with in about a months time.

BTW, I used to do this thing for some of the NIN shows I've been to where I bring a small blank page bound journal and sharpie pens and hand the book off during the -in line waiting time- and have peeps write freely n pass it on in hopes to fill it. If book gets moderately filled with ink then I'll try to find someone to pass it off to so it can reach the big man back stage....
It's a great way to pass the time
I took an inflatable sex (doll?) sheep to a San Diego show once. Lots of fun was had with that sheep. Poked, inked, porned, and molested and fist-fucked too by many hands-- I guess it never made its way back stage. Seems that the person in charge of that took it one step further and 'popped it' (maybe he used it for the factory intended purposes?)

I've shared a lot of stories with my sons about ninscapades, my ninmomfangirl
sheninanigans, n about the generosities that NIN has bestowed on its fan base and that yes NIN does in fact have a sense of humor. He has been (bred and) briefed to be prepared for the weird.

**Thank you Toadflax and quietude. I'll share this with my son as well**
--Also just got my eticket as well. Does anyone want me to bring the printer for backup for their ticket?--

I was at this show too... It was actually at the Forum. It was amazing... And OMG security was so hardcore about no photos. Which most of us respected because it was before most people had smartphones.

Also, waves at you in Ventura county. I used to work in Camarillo and I would see a car with a NIN sticker and wonder, is that Ventura Local? LOL... See you in Bakersfield!

I got mine. I have one GA that's regular sale and one seated ticket that's presale. The time stamps were 10:30 am and 9:30 am respectively for when they were sent out.

    This.

Now I need to see if I can get to a staples before I leave for my flight to print it out.

Also, this is old school NIN show practice from the spiral days, but when we get let in to the venue and get to the GA area, SIT DOWN! Helps minimize the standing time while waiting for the opening act to start. Sit down, relax, set the example for the "general public" to follow suit. Everyone will be in better spirits that way.

A bit of a long shot... does anyone commuting from Los Angeles have an extra GA ticket? I missed out on the presale and then they all sold out. Been moping around for days about missing out.

I'd love to pay for your extra GA ticket and chip in for gas if anyone is interested.

last time I did this some asshole made a mad dash for the barricade (ie went past me) and went into immediate "elbows up" posture to keep me back.

these are the types of people that eventually get shot or beaten by other people or the police. things get sorted out on their own in time.

i don't know. that's been disastrous in my experience. all it takes is one asshole standing up to adjust his junk to cause a stampede.

I don't have an extra GA but in all likelihood someone will have an extra ticket. My advice would be to get there early and just ask around.

I was thinking of turning on my Lyft app for driving back from the show, figuring someone might need a ride to LA...but if a group of y'all want to carpool and help pay gas I would be down for that. I was going to leave in the morning for Bakersfield.

Also, if anyone hasn't taken Lyft before, use my promo code NINLYFT (rad right?) and get $5 towards your first ride. Also good for signing bonus if you sign up to drive for Lyft.

I've driven 3 hours for a show before like this and didn't find anyone with an extra ticket, so I'm very hesitant to try again and get burned.

Still holding out hope someone with an extra GA ticket can help though!

Just take the extra seated ticket offered above if it's still available so you know you can get in, and then try to find someone selling GA when you get there. You're still spending the same price as most NIN shows.
