This deserves a thread. My hype levels for this are through the fuckin' roof.

I hope he joins forces with Nick Fury one day, so that they can both punch the Kingpin senseless.
Depending on how this series goes, Bernthal could surpass Tom Jane in my eyes as the Punisher.
I'm sorry if this seems childish but here goes, FUCK YES I can not wait!!!
We just need an official release date.
Supposedly one of the directors accidentally said it would be released in November; which makes sense because of The defenders release would be far away from the two.
War Zone was a fun movie. 100 times better than the Thomas Jane one.
Just as long as its better than Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones.

This could obviously be a blunder from Total Film magazine in its newest issue, but hey...here's to hoping!
I read about it being pulled from NYCC in light of that transpired in Las Vegas (which is perfectly understandable), but I never saw any mention of an initially planned surprise drop. Oh well, we weren't really sure when it was coming anyway. Hopefully within the next month...
Hoping 'late fall' doesn't mean just before Christmas. Been waiting for a long time for this haha...
FINALLY.

Just watched the first episode. A little slow, but that ending . . .
”I’m gonna find a home for this.”
Only watched first episode, but so far much better than Jessica Jones, Iron First, Luke Cage, season 2 of Daredevil, and The Defenders. Hopefully it keeps it up like this and stays season 1 Daredevil level.
I did not mind the speed of the first episode because I actually felt connected to the character(s). Most times with these Marvel Netflix shows, I feel the characters' emotions and connections come off a bit forced. But here, I thought they did a much better job with the writing. The flashbacks worked well leading up until that final moment with the wife is revealed.

I’m on episode 5 and I’m not feeling it. When frank kicks ass it kick ass, but this ptsd shit and the agent going of course to solve something has been done with these shows already.
I’m sad I’m not connecting to this show
I'm not a fan of Bernthal so even as a minimal interest spark for Frank Castle/Punisher I'll never attempt to watch this.
I'm only on episode three so far. I'm enjoying it, can't help but wonder what this show would be like if they hadn't featured Frank so much in DD s2 though.
I LOVED Frank in DD (he was easily one of the season's highlights), but I feel like this solo series would pack more of a punch if it had all of that additional material to work in.
Yeah, like all the other Netflix Marvel shows, they start out big and sometimes finish strong, but they really start to meander in the middle. It makes me feel like they should go with less episodes, like 8 or 10, to cut off the excess fat. The Punisher is still better than Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Jessica Jones, but lost that intensity as it went along. I'm currently at episode 8.
Definitely picked up from episode 8 and on.
