i don't care what anyone says -- the city of boise is amazing. we're not trying to be portland, or seattle -- it's very much it's own city. pridefest this year proved it. huge names, 50,000 in attendance ... i'm so proud of this joint.
I have 45 more days to go until I move from Naperville, Illinois to Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Someone liked a drawing I did of Amy Winehouse. Maybe those 6 years of art school weren't a waste of time and money.
Holy fuck, what a day... Rammstein announced 2 special shows on a beach in Mexico for New Years Eve and that their new record will be out before the end of the year, new ohGr record and tour (with a Vancouver date) and Bad Witch leaked all in 1 day!?!?!?! Holy Smokes!!! All that and I leave for vacation tomorrow morning!!!! I can hardly contain myself!
Aw shit son, today's the day I go pick up my new bass
At 7:00 AM this morning, the 2.5 months notice I gave to my boss finally came to a close. The job I’ve known for the last seven years mercifully came to an end.
It wasn’t all bad. I wouldn’t have stayed there that long if it wasn’t at least moderately pleasant. I made some good friends, as well as some decent money. However, it was time for a change. These last two years became more and more stressful and grueling. I felt if I stayed there one second longer, eventually I would unjustifiably just go off on some random person.
Now in two days I start training for my new job, and at the end of the month, I move to Colorado Springs. Absolutely ready for this new chapter in my life to begin.

Welcome to Colorado. I moved out here from Burr Ridge IL 20 years ago and have never looked back. Hope you enjoy it.
I am so glad we live in an era when you no longer get computer viruses looking at porn. The early 2000s were rough. Best Buy got sick and tired of me asking them to fix computer once or twice every year from 2000 to 2009, because Norton Security wasn't catching everything. I got tired of the Geek Squad knowing I like to watch dudes with low hanging balls masturbate, and I was curious about big dick trannies poking girls in the cooter. Them years were rough, and very costly.
I had a Geek Squad asshole tell me "Get a better virus program. Don't come back here no more." I was like "Bitch, I am giving your dumb ass a job. You better be grateful that you are wiping my hard drives for $250. I am giving your ass business."
You kiddies in your teens and twenties got it lucky these days. You don't even have to look at porn no more, because sending sex photos in text messages on your cell phone is part of the dating process. Just every day normal life these days.

me and @thelastdisciple are gonna be X-Wing copilots in Space Force
18 more days till I travel to Colorado. I’m giddy as all Hell. Especially excited in meeting some new people and making some great friends. I’ve visited Colorado three times in the last two years, and all the people I’ve come across have been some of the most welcoming, friendly, and forthcoming people I’ve come across in quite some time.
30th anniversary party for my old fanzine is actually coming together and the headliner confirmed!! *fangirl squeal of joy*
My youngest kid is getting her new wheelchair delivered on Tuesday. We are so stoked, it takes quite a while to get insurance approval, then get all the parts ordered and then get it assembled and delivered.
While all those details were coming together, she officially outgrew her current chair leaving us carrying a first-grader EVERYWHERE for a couple of months. I was hoping I would get swole af from all the arm work, but I just got tired. Tuesday will be a very happy day for the whole house.
Jessica Simpson talked to me on Facebook. I have to get my fun where I can. I wear a lot of her clothes and perfumes. She's one of the few celebrities I buy merch from.
I'm doing an online diploma in literature for my own personal interest. I write fiction and poems sometimes. I always wanted to study English but my parents wanted me to learn something practical that would lead to a profession.
EPP: I didn't see your daughter's picture before when I was posting. I can only see it when I log out. Thanks for sharing.
This is awesome! I always loved Literature and if I could go back to school for anything that's what it would be for. I kind of understand a parent's encouragement for their kids to think practically, but it's really tough to look back and have regrets because you didn't really go for what you wanted.
I’m sitting in a hotel in Salina, KS after a 10 hour drive today from Naperville, IL. I have six more hours to go tomorrow, then I pick-up the keys to my apartment in Colorado Springs!
I fucking love Colorado.
After roughly six hours at the DMV between Thursday and Today, I and my Subaru are now officially residents of Colorado. Also, this weekend I shared a legally purchased joint with the woman I love. To top that off, less than a month till I get to see NIN at Red Rocks.
I'm gonna be spending more and more time up there. My brother and his family moved up there and now my cousins and their families are moving up there one by one, and my dad and other people are always visiting. Once I get off the worst of these painkillers, I'll be a lot more mobile (I'm thinking I'll be good by the end of the year.)
Anyway, maybe we can chill sometime in the future. I live in the VERY very top of Texas and Denver is only about 5 hours away.
In the meantime, maybe I'll see you at red rocks!
In a year of absolute shit, one bright light can keep you from drowning.
BEST. WEEKEND. EVER.

My father had surgery this past Friday to remove a mass from his lung. The plan was to remove 40% of his left lung if they found out the mass was malignant.
It turned out to be a non-cancerous mass of infection. The doctors have already pulled the drains they inserted, and he is expected to be released from the VA later today!
My hands don't hurt so bad today!
They still hurt, but not like they have for the past week or so- they WERE feeling like I had recently BROKEN them.
Idk if this is the methotrexate treatment starting to work, or if I'd been having a "flare up," or a bit of both. either way, I was afraid the pain I was experiencing was going to be permanent , that it was just the inevitable natural p4rogression of the disease.
And it was, without a doubt, the worst pain I've ever had.
Now, not only has the pain let up some, but I also have a bit of hope!
Idk if this is the place to post this, and how it will be taken by some, but I am happy to be pregnant with a child that isn't mine. I started the process of becoming a gestational carrrier (surrogate) last year and have finally become pregnant! I am really excited and happy to help this couple and have had nothing but support from those around me. Hoping this pregnancy is as easy as my other 2!
My future mother-in-law just blocked me on Facebook! WOOHOO! Oh no, was it my post being mean to Mr Trump? Was it me saying that climate change is real?
This is the sound of one hand golf-clapping.
