My main desire for this interview (other than the obvious desire for a hard announcement about EP3) is that the interviewer is decent and gets some interesting answers out of both of them. Since the NIN post about it mentioned discussing Meltdown I'm hoping that means we get some bigger news about touring and at least an idea/framework of when, if at all, they'll be here in the US.

I doubt it will be the case, but I would love it to be the case that the third EP completes an abstract picture for us, and we're then presented with a definitive order for a 15-track album that's comprised of all the EP songs. Were that the case, I'd be shocked if "Branches/Bones" weren't the ultimate opener and "The Background World" the absolute closer. But again, I doubt it'll happen that way.

i think some people believe this is an innovative way of presenting an album, but when the pixies did it it felt like an absolute waste of time, plus zero anticipation. Unless the songs were remixed or different in some way, i wouldn't care.
