Should have started listening earlier to get my brit filter calibrated.

Wow, I think they're running this phone line through the TBW destruction filter.

If you shut your eyes and pretend that the phone call quality is just a distortion filter, it's almost like finally having vocals for a Ghosts track

Nice that they're playing Ghosts tracks instead of the instrumental versions of Closer or The Hand That Feeds.

It's weird listening to the interview & hearing the Toys R Us jingle after following this link: http://money.cnn.com/2018/03/15/news...ame/index.html

That June 24th Royal Albert Hall date sounds amazing. It's great to see them doing different types of venues more.

That seems like a really cool place to put on the resume. I don't know how big time hard line bad luck... is gonna go over with the building curators.

Third EP scheduled to be released before the upcoming shows. So June at the latest.

Summary: new shows, new EP before the shows, more scores. Sounds good to me!

I couldn't make out a date... "Third EP should be out by gzgsiuisgith"?
Did anyone else hear what he actually said?

EDIT: Thanks to the people above me! Out before the shows. Sounds good!

Wow. What a downer. We all pretty much assumed June would be the date considering the delay. Was hoping for a surprise.

Hearing him say the EP's taken longer because they wanted to avoid it sounding predictable is very exciting. Part of my love for NTAE over AV is that NTAE was such a left-field surprise sonically after Hesitation Marks, whereas AV felt like a refinement of their recent style.

Why has no one yet mentioned that the delay has been due to not wanting to sound predictable and stale with where the collection of EPs was going?

^^ Going to have to respectfully disagree, as I prefer AV more!

I agree with you here. AV really sounded like they were going back into familiar territory. I'm fine with the delay if it means that they are pushing the boundaries.

Soooo...11 months after AV we'll get ep3. This call-in was only to announce a show and be vague about everything else.

I'm going to go listen to Disappointed off HM.

Yeah, I love how the "big news" was another european show announcement after we've already got 11 european announcements. So now we have 12! What "big news"!

Well, I love both eps, but I certainly prefer AV much more. If they've gone a different route, I hope it means something new rather than in the vein of NTAE.

EPs are cool when you release them 3-6 months apart...When its taking 1 year, then just put out a fucking full length album...Also, June release for the EP, so I guess that means the physical release (CD/Vinyl) should be January 2019?

Would be real nice if they waited until the vinyl was all pressed and ready to ship before they announced the third EP, so the digital would arrive the same day as the physical. Not holding my breath though.

Yeah, I thought the whole point of doing the music in little chunks was so that they could release music more frequently???????? Roughly a year for an EP is totally violating that point!

When you consider that this interview was done on BBC6, a UK radio station, then this is big news for them. They're getting another NIN show after the last one sold out. We also got a timeframe for the next EP. I'd still say this was big news.

So then I guess we can expect to see the remaster for WT, YZ and TS around the same time as this third EP?
