TDS mentioned in an article about The Crow:
[...]Whether by design or happy accident, The Crow landed at the exact right moment. A month earlier, Kurt Cobain had killed himself. Probably more importantly for this movie’s sake, Nine Inch Nails had released The Downward Spiral two months earlier. The movie tapped into the same impulses that that album fed in teenagers—the desire to rebel, to tap into something dark, to come across as both menacing and compelling.[...]

James name-drops NIN at 5:05 Nothing more, though.

Hey guys... the NIN Greatest Hits album cover just leaked
As a designer, it just hurts to look at that cringe-inducing "design" and know that someone somewhere worked on it, was proud of it, and thought it looked cool enough to be on a shirt. Also the fact that there are people out there that would agree and buy it. Yikes.
To most people, graphic design is just browsing 1001fonts.com

The comic geniuses from Cyanide and Happiness started a podcast recently. The podcast is basically them writing a cartoon for thirty minutes but in reality just BSing and then when the 30 minutes is up, they wing it with a script that makes zero sense. It's a very specific type of humor but I think it's hysterical (especially the first episode) just not for mixed company. Anyway, episode 4 (the most current as of now), I won't spoil it but listen from 17:00-18:30

The Raid 2 was added to Netflix and they use 14 Ghosts II as the song for the preview music when browsing.
Netflix used generic tracks in the past for genres, action, comedy, thriller, etc.
this is sorta weird...

Bruno Mars is a NIN fan. His tweet when asked what he is currently listening to.
"The Beach Boys, Gucci Mane and last night the band and I were listening to nine inch nails, System of a Down and incubus." https://t.co/kmrR6yavSl
Last night I watched a gay porn scene where one of the guys had a tattoo from The Slip on his back.
