I've read mention of Cormac McCarthy books, but most interview, Trent seems to talk more about music – which makes sense.
I can imagine Nietzsche – but I don't know this for a fact!

He probably doesn't have any time left to read between the band, scores and raising 4 kids with a beautiful wife.
I seem to recall an interview maybe 10 years ago where he mentioned Clive Barker?
